For context- I’m a conservative 3x Trump voter, Airborne Infantry Combat Veteran, center leaning, free market enthusiast who has been very disappointed with Trumps team this second term. My argument below might be an unpopular opinion. For the record, I think Trumps team has let HIM and US down and he’s ultimately responsible for that. But… If removing Maduro was a chess move to eliminate the $39 Trillion in national debt- I support that. Maduro was a terrible leader of a corrupt and criminal administration that was hugely and negatively impacting our country and if our US Treasury can profit significantly from taking over their oil manufacturing, distribution and sales and that reduces the deficit significantly- I am for it. Crazy, but smart! That’s a flex by America that I support. Take your oil and eliminate our debt and the Venezuelan people and American people live better off instead of Maduro and his Chinese backers. Regarding Iran, I think we failed on what our mission statement and objectives were. We look like Israel’s bitch. We really do. Publicly, We got fed complete Epstein bullshit about Iran was going to have nukes and it was so detrimental to the world (only Israel) and that messaging backfired big time. Turns out the world hates Israel for their war crimes?? I have a feeling we’re really fighting this war because we are at incompatable crossroads from a culture perspective with extreme views of Islam that are militant based. Not Saudi Arabia or UAE because they’re business focused, like us. But Iran, Afghanistan, or militant Islamic groups who aren’t a more country like ISIS, Hezbollah, etc- those are militant Islamic sects that don’t coincide with western civilization. If that is what we’re fighting, sell that to us @realDonaldTrump . Tell us Israel is our bitch because we’re making them do all the fighting. Right now, the messaging sucks. Therefore the product sucks. Are we fighting for Israel or are we fighting to preserve our way of life as the leader of world in a world where militant Islam doesn’t exist? That’s better messaging than the dumb fucking shit being sold to us now. Oh by the way, Epstein files aren’t going away and pedophiles, regardless of position of power will be held accountable to the public. The power of the masses is too strong. Accountability is coming. After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
