Is all food waste incinerated or does some go to make green waste compost?
Did you know your food waste is recycled to generate renewable energy? Just 6 teabags can create enough energy to boil a kettle ☕ #RecycleForHarrow #FeedYourCaddy

Much excitement today as a Ring Ouzel decided to drop into one of the Bio Sites. They migrate from Africa / S Europe each spring to nest on Moorland. Here is a dreadful video of it 😆 #Birding #Heathrow #Migration2022

This week, Beavers returned to London after 400 years. It makes me very hopeful for the future of the capital’s wildlife, and shows what rewilding we can achieve in London. I cannot wait to see them in Ealing: @WildlifeEaling and @CitizenZoo are a dream team!
Ealing Wildlife Group are leading on a joint project with @EalingCouncil & @CitizenZoo to reintroduce beavers to Ealing at Paradise Fields in North Greenford. We would like your views in our public consultation survey in the blog article attached. ealingwildlifegroup.com/unca…

There was a scheme that celebrates the Queen's Jubilee year that @Kaulofthewilduk was heading up, to provide 70 boxes to schools. It's a bit late now to be putting up boxes. I prefer to get them in place early in the winter as many birds scout out sites well before nesting.

I'm all for more bird boxes to support our local wildlife, but why does this Tory MP have to support an organisation promoting the shooting of wildlife? Are there better ways for schools to get bird boxes @HarrowNCF @FriendsHarrow?

Looks amazing difference! Could I ask for details of the planting, a plant list? I'm working on similar projects in Harrow.
JUST IN! 📣 We've finished construction of some tremendous new rain gardens on Woodland Road. Hope you'll agree this greening up offers a huge improvement to the street - not to mention the flood risk and water quality benefits 😉💧

We visited the river at Feltham Marshalling Yards to see litter that has been blowing into this space from the Royal Mail Jubilee Mail Centre next door. It’s awful and been reported to Royal Mail and the council many times over the last year. Come on @RoyalMail – sort this out!
