Everyone's talking about AI-generated HTML. But have you tried giving your sites a zero-config API for saving data, file storage, AI, websockets, etc? We did this at Shopify. Runs on a single VM that costs $200/month, and it's changed the way we work. We call it Quick 👇🧵

To get good animations from an AI you need to get good at telling it what you want: - "stagger this list of items" - "make this animation direction-aware" - "spacial consistency", "crossfade", "layout animation", I made a motion vocabulary for this: animations.dev/vocabulary

IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM!! One issue I kept running into with orthographic cameras was that terrain height barely felt noticeable. My fix? Adding a tiny camera rotation based on player movement >:) #gamedev #indiedev

Excited to share a new vibe coded prototype: an interactive lesson on ants and their habitat, designed for elementary school students. AI allowed me to finalize this demo quickly. Some educational details still need review, but the main chambers of an anthill are all represented. Everything was made in @omma_ai , a @splinetool product. What's inside: - 3D models created with Omma, all I needed was one image of the anthill's exterior and another of its cross-section to generate both 3D models - Clouds done with sprites - A custom shader mask to reveal the inside of the anthill This was a really fun one to work on!

No AI. Leafy Corner is made with UE5, Blender, Photoshop, and hours of admiring houseplants and learning about them! 🪴💚
No AI. I made these using Blender 3D and too much coffee🧍‍♂️

Wild what's possible now: I can ship a 3D experience prototype to a museum in a single afternoon. Everything coded and generated with Omma, leveraging AI to iterate fast. 3D models generated in Omma. Scene built on top of Three.js. Prompted for dissolving shaders particle systems?

A high-ROI tip from animations.dev is to record your animations and play them frame by frame to spot imperfections you wouldn’t otherwise notice. These hidden imperfections are what makes an animation feel off, even though it looks alright at first glance.
