Incidentally Kaufman's plan from 1941 was re-purposed and re-written by Soviet intelligence and became the Morgenthau Plan of 1944/1945 which envisaged the death of tens of millions of Germans by starvation. The specific Soviet intelligence asset involved was Morgenthau's advisor and fellow jew Harry Dexter White.
