An incredible experience. 30 miles of hiking with new friends. The best part: the team raised $75K for MM research! So grateful for the opportunity @GD_251

If you have a targeted oncology program, be prepared for investors to ask about several points: what is the level of expression of the target in (or on) tumor cells across tumor types, vs. healthy cells? Is this known at the protein level or transcript level or simply DNA...1/4

Josh Schimmer and the ISI team have a gene therapy tracker, and I'd say the headline numbers are pretty shocking for how crowded they look. 700 programs (200 clinical) from over 170 companies. Some of these leading indications...whoa.

False. Thal was never approved in pregnant women by the US FDA. Big FDA (Dr. Kelsey) success story for standing their ground against aggressive campaigning for its approval.
The FDA also approved Thalidomide in 1997 which caused babies to be born without limbs. #COVID19 #FDAapproved #CovidVaccine

Did you know that there are Olympians with migraine? It's pretty amazing that they can still compete at such a high level while working through their condition! Kudos to all athletes fighting with invisible diseases to excel in their sport! 💖J

Today we published a new study that shows that 1000 rivers -- not 10 -- are responsible for most of the world's ocean plastic pollution. This changes the picture of where ocean plastic comes from. [THREAD 🧵]

Are you sad and angry about the surge in anti-Asian violence? Wondering if there’s something anti-racist you can do? One idea: learn how pronounce Asian names! It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just try, and it will make a difference to your Asian friends and people you meet. (1/8)
