Levels on the Glasgow Outcome Scale–Extended (GOS-E) at 6 Months. The GOS-E ranges from 1 to 8, with higher levels indicating better outcomes. The percentages represent the percentage of patients with each level. No patients in the tranexamic acid group had a GOS-E level of 2. The dotted line indicates the demarcation between death or survival with an unfavorable functional outcome (GOS-E levels of 1 to 4) and survival with a favorable functional outcome (GOS-E levels of 5 to 8). Results are shown without imputation; the results of an analysis that used imputation are provided in Figure S3 in the Supplementary Appendix. Percentages may not total 100 because of rounding.
