The development of new medicines has slowed down.GoEQIPD aims to reverse this trend by improving preclinical data quality in industry, CROs, academia worldwide.
Better Biomarkers, or even basic research if the markers fail. Better preclinical data, like @GoEQIPD emphasises 4 years. Better use of strategic guides for go or no-go decisions IRB‘s could consider the 130 previously failed trials & market saturation with Modes of Action.
The @GoEQIPD Webinar series provides a foundation for best practices in preclinical research. If you missed any of the series you can replay them now on their website: go-eqipd.org/about-eqipd/web…
Please join us for the final installment of the 2023 #GoEQIPD webinar series: This time we hear from 2 active users of the #EQIPD quality system. Please register here: go-eqipd.org/about-eqipd/web…
On 21 June, the EQIPD project (Enhancing Quality In Preclinical Data; @GoEQIPD) is hosting the last webinar of the series on "Use cases" of improving #Preclinical research.

Are you familiar with the term “pseudoreplication”?
Pseudoreplicates are “replicates” that are not actually independent.
In this paper, the authors provide 3 criteria for replicates to be considered genuine:

1) The experimental unit must be independently randomized to the treatment conditions.
2) The treatment or condition must be independently applied to each experimental unit.
3) The experimental units must not influence each other, especially on outcomes of interest."
