Just found this video I’ve never seen before, posted by @KevinDiss on YouTube last week and it is an utter joy. Palmer v Jacklin on a composite course made of the best 18 links holes in Britain. So much to love about it especially Longhurst’s commentary

It’s a genuinely compelling match, played entirely in a gale, 4 irons into the postage stamp, the original 7th at Hoylake, it’s marvellous. Great fun guessing which holes were coming. Anyone know if this was a one off or if it was a series? Thanks for sharing it @KevinDiss

I think I need to see Iain’s clubs, as it sounds like we have identical hickory players. Tom Stewart’s Bobby Jones clubs and even the super rare Tom Stewart Flanged Niblick!

Last day of 🏴 golf trip and a round at @MorayGC Old. A fine way to finish with blue skies and only a hint of breeze. Great course and clubhouse and their library still has the odd decent book in it @SProctorGolf. Spent the night in a B&B overlooking the 18th green
