Finland's strategy of building entire apartment blocks for formerly homeless individuals as part of its "Housing First" model has been highly successful, contributing to the near-elimination of homelessness in the country. This came with the creation of apartment blocks specifically designed for homeless individuals. These complexes come with private rooms, mental-health support, job assistance, and social workers on site — helping people stabilize their lives before anything else. The rent automatically adjusts to income, meaning no one is ever priced out again. This approach has already helped Finland achieve the lowest homelessness rate in Europe, proving that stable housing creates a foundation for employment, recovery, and long-term independence.

One of the most terrifying attacks carried out by Israel, where it completely destroyed the Mashteha Tower within a matter of seconds, as it is considered one of the largest and most beautiful towers in Gaza, and houses thousands of families living in it, despite the thousands of tents that were located on every side of this tower, aircraft launched no less than 6 deadly missiles that resulted in thousands of lethal shrapnel fragments, which led to the destruction of thousands of tents that were the only shelter for the families. This is not just a war, this is genocide.

As the world looks elsewhere, Israel continues to exterminate Palestinians in Gaza. Days in days out. Shame on complicit western media and all complicit governments.
Massacres against Palestinian civilians in Gaza are still being carried out by Israel. Just minutes ago, another massacre occurred in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

BREAKING: Labor is actively hiding the truth of Australia’s genocidal supply of F35 fighter parts to Israel. My office uncovered via FOI the Defence Department quietly deleted its webpage celebrating Australian companies pumping weapons parts to Israel to keep F35 jets flying.

Chris Sidoti is on point here. We can’t have one rule for everyone else and an exception for the IDF esp in context of war crimes
Int. law expert Chris Sidoti says those coming to Australia who served in the IDF & had “any involvement in the war in Gaza” should be treated as a “suspect” “A suspect who should be investigated & if the evidence warrants it, prosecuted & if a court is satisfied, convicted!”💯

A fundamental idea behind the UN is that all nations can attend, despite their political ties with the US. When the US starts picking what parts of the world can attend, it’s unpicking the UN. Deliberately.

This Senate inquiry exposed a culture where secrecy was the norm, overpaid university executives treated public institutions like their own backyard, and consequences were rare for misadventure. ANU is a textbook case: tone-deaf restructures, staff unrest, and a vice-chancellor forced to resign amid plummeting confidence. At ANU, the responsibility ultimately lies with Chancellor Julie Bishop. This ongoing dysfunction and failure happened on her watch. If ANU is serious about rebuilding trust, it cannot do so while Julie Bishop remains in the chair.

Recognition of Palestine is the bare minimum. But it's a testament to the power of protest to see Labor take this step one year after they were forcing out Senators for voting to recognise Palestine. Next - sanction Israel, end the arms trade repeal Minns' anti protest laws!
