In our latest research work, we tackle the tricky challenge of verifying attestation of Lightning channel balances! As Lightning continues to grow in volume and institutional adoption, it will be increasingly desirable for companies to be able to cryptographically attest to the Bitcoin they have in Lightning channels for auditors, proving solvency, credit, and lending. Offchain payment channels are unable to be verified onchain via regular digital signatures, however they do have native APIs that report balances. Running Lightning nodes in Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), creates strong guarantees of the integrity of the software being run, which can be combined with proofs of delivery (zkTLS, etc), resulting in a strong layered approach to generating and verifying attestations. arxiv.org/abs/2512.12095

Paste in a github URL and get: - code is parsed into a graph database - test coverage analyzed - agent friendly documentation created - scan for exposed secrets - an agent spins up your app on VMs - PRs for missing tests appear Hive will make managing a product fun again.
