This song never fails to give one goosebumps!
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, blue skies from pain Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell? Did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze? Cold comfort for change? Did you exchange A walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage? How I wish, how I wish you were here We're just two lost souls swimming in a fishbowl, year after year Running over the same old ground What have we found? The same old fears Wish you were here

Tyeb Mehta approached his practice with unusual rigor. What emerges through these conversations is a shared reflection on the arc of his work across decades, and the rare opportunity to see that journey brought together at this scale during his centenary year. TYEB MEHTA Bearing Weight (with the lightness of being) brings together voices connected to the exhibition and the artist’s legacy, offering another way into the retrospective. This landmark retrospective is now extended till 26 July, with extended hours giving viewers more time with one of modern Indian art’s most significant bodies of work. Come visit or revisit the exhibition, and spend more time with the works that resonate most with you. 📆On view until 26 Jul ⏰ Tue–Fri: 10.30am – 7.00pm ⏰ Sat–Sun: 10.30am – 9.00pm 📍 KNMA, New Delhi 🎟️Free Admission Curated by Roobina Karode, and presented by KNMA in collaboration with the Tyeb Mehta Foundation and the Saffronart Foundation. #KNMA #TyebMehta #BearingWeight #CentennialExhibition

Such a shame. Virat shud have known. And spineless @BCCI has in a way encouraged this by not calling out Virat's misadventure. This is completely against the #SpiritOfCricket One expects better from such a great player... He is the ambassador of the game. Very Sad

"If we lose test cricket, we will lose the cricket we truly know. History remembers legendary test careers not franchise triumphs. Cricket without Tests has no real meaning. Winning a T20 World Cup may put you at the centre of world cricket today, but whether that is truly good for the game remains open to debate. Test cricket earned its name because it challenges every quality a player possesses, technique, patience, temperament, endurance and character. It is not simply about clearing the ropes for entertainment; It is about battling through pressure, adapting to conditions, and surviving the physical and mental demands of five intense days" - Sir Ian Botham

Arrogance perhaps! This is completely against the #SpiritOfCricket. Such behaviour takes away the shine from Virat's illustrious career. And neither @BCCI nor @IPL will have the balls to call this out!

Must read for all sports enthusiasts. This is how we kill sports in India. And @mansukhmandviya has been conveniently quiet on this issue - as if this is not sports!
Delhi HC Chief Justice rips apart WFI for not allowing Vinesh Phogat to compete: "She reached the finals and was disqualified for being overweight by how many grams?… Can you describe it as a national shame? Don’t act in vengeance." @thanda_ghosh reports indianexpress.com/article/le…

How many history illiterates will you correct Sanjoy? Fed on propaganda and educated by WhatsApp University - they believe they know all that's there to know and there is no need to know what they don't know! #Nehru #History
Hey indian Australian, do get a handle on your history facts! Nehru was an architect for the idea of india and created its reality by knitting together hundred of princely states!

STORY | Unemployed 'youngsters like cockroaches' become media, activists; attack system: CJI Likening some unemployed youngsters to cockroaches, Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant on Friday said they go on to "become" media, social media and RTI activists and start attacking the system. The comments came while a bench of CJI Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi was pulling up a lawyer for "pursuing" a senior advocate designation. It said there were already "parasites" in society who attack the system and asked the petitioner whether he wanted to join hands with them. "The entire world may be eligible to become senior (advocate), but at least you are not entitled," the bench told the petitioner's lawyer. A visibly anguished CJI observed that if the Delhi High Court were to confer senior advocate designation upon the petitioner, the apex court would set that aside, seeing his professional conduct. The CJI also referred to the kind of language used by the petitioner on Facebook. READ: ptinews.com/story/national/u…
