This rig is getting out of hand, but damn is it fun 🤩 Also, I think I’m about done with all the elements, just gotta make a few animations for each “Mode” and it’s on to Unreal Engine (After UVs and Textures of course 😭)

The integrating between Blender and Unreal Engine workflows and the balancing act for artistic expression and logic is a topic not many devs bring up enough. So to make this Halo system work in Unreal. I have to go ahead and have all the pieces (possibly animations) done first. After that, it’s much better to use sockets and animate the Health and Stamina Vials (Along with the extra assets) in Unreal Engine using Sockets and timelines. I was able to get away with animating it all for my character and weapon in blender, but the logic is such that Unreal Engine really prefers you to use the assets separately and use blueprints (Often in layers) to make them all work together. So I’m gonna flesh this system out first in blender to better plan it all out 🤔

Being devilish with my Halo System. Rigging is tricky, but I think it’ll be way worth it in game 😤 Thoughts?

I hope the Ocarina of Time remake will have N64 controller support like the Star Fox remake.
