INSA joined five leading industry associations in providing targeted legislative recommendations to congressional leaders ahead of markups for the Intelligence Authorization Act for FY27. The coalition outlined practical statutory fixes to modernize public-private coordination and reduce risk to sensitive missions, focusing on three critical areas: • Modernizing clearance sponsorship authorities • Balancing fixed-price contract risk on classified programs • Harmonizing secure facility accreditation standards "Providing these insights to Congress is vital for our members, who face every day administrative and contractual bottlenecks that slow down critical mission delivery," said INSA President Suzanne Wilson Heckenberg.
