As we approach the conclusion of the International Uyghur Forum 2026, one of our most important sessions is now underway. Alongside the discussions, we are hosting a book fair featuring authors who have dedicated years of work to documenting the atrocities committed against the Uyghur people. Through personal experiences, in-depth research, and the collection of rare testimonies from witnesses and survivors, their work helps preserve the truth and ensure these stories are not forgotten. We sincerely thank all the authors, researchers, and contributors who took part in our book fair. @DMCBaxendale @RushanAbbas @Dolkun_Isa @KalbinurSidik @Eastofethan @AzizIsaElkun

It was a privilege to speak today on a panel at @IUFforum alongside two very distinguished psychiatrists and two very courageous #Uyghur women activists, on transnational repression, resilience, building sustainable human rights advocacy and avoiding burnout. I shared some of my own experiences, some of @FortifyRights principles and lessons learned, and some messages of encouragement for the fight for human rights which must go on.
