Why? The illness affecting California and Los Angeles runway Production is several decades old. It is born out of the total arrogance and lack of vision, held by those of both parties when they governed California. Those in power in California - and obviously Democrats hold the lion share of guilt in this one party state - did nothing while billions worth of work migrated to Canada, Atlanta, Australia, the United Kingdom, etc., etc. Secure in their idiocy that California was the (1) undisputed king of Entertainment Production coupled with (2) prolific corrupt spending on nonsense like ‘rails to nowhere’ and politically motivated undocumented migrant welfare,(3) self-serving public service union pork, (4) gross over taxation of citizens, these (5) cretins lined their pockets and (6) presided over the destruction of the state in all its natural glory and potential. Runway film production is and has been the dominant trend in California for the exact same reasons that rampant homelessness, catastrophic fires, gross housing in-affordability, failed public education, rocketing crime, non-existent environmental protection and sky-high taxation exist - corrupt, greedy, narcissistic, moronic, talentless leadership. As a representative of the American film business, a veteran of 230 films and television shows, a Son of the American Revolution and a decades long advocate for Wounded Warriors, I ask you to immediately, by executive order, apply a 15% federal tax or cash rebate to all Films carried out in the United States. This 15% piggybacked upon individual state incentives would immediately make American films and the American film industry super competitive with productions globally, which are subsidized by their governments. You may believe that such an incentive would inordinately benefit California, which has never been an advocate for your presidency. However, I would call your attention to the 41.3% of the California population which voted for you in the last election. Millions within California support your presidency, particularly since the current government structure of California and Los Angeles is incompetent, corrupt and lacking in vision. Your generosity to the citizens of every state, not only of California, but all states involved in film production will be recognized and acknowledged. Throwing it back to an absolute classic showdown! Working on Walker, Texas Ranger, in the midst of an 11-day Dallas ice storm, was incredible, especially sharing the screen with late, great martial arts legend Chuck Norris in the season 2 episode, "Skyjacked". When you execute an action scene with Chuck, you quickly learn a universal truth: I never actually got to trade kicks. Chuck did all the kicking, and I did all the flying! Did you know that when Chuck Norris does a roundhouse kick, he doesn't actually hit you? The sheer terror of his foot approaching simply convinces your brain neurons to move you out of the way. lol.
