They didn’t get yelled at into making an entire line of models after a week of complaints, they got yelled into releasing their designs to show they already were working on them.

As a former staff member, you are talking right out of your arse 😂🤣 the number one job might be selling but Gw has always actively encouraged the hiring of staff that know the games and universe as that’s pivotal to being able to sell people on the games. Talking utter pish

Fellas, this is 100% correct. I applied to become a local GW store manager 6 years ago, and one of the tips the hiring manager gave me was to not mention anything about my passion for 40k and model building in my second interview (that never ended up happening btw). This was told to me because I had my models positioned behind me in the video interview and I talked about how I've been painting since I was 15. They care more about hiring people that can milk customers of their money, not people that are passionate about Warhammer. Short term cash is better than a long term fanbase to GW.
Passion sells better than generic corpo slop to save money. Thats why Tojo with the Japanese Godzilla franchise and Bandai with the Gundam franchise are still in business. They need to realize this sooner or later.

Plus every store runs tutorials for the game and painting, runs introductory games & events. If it was just retail drones who didn’t care about the game that wouldn’t work. This sort of narrative proves how painfully ignorant people are in the push to shit on Gw at all costs

They have at least 4 copies, & haven’t listed preorders sold out so that’s just shot the stores only got 3 max out the water. This is them but laying ground work for when the Custodes box sells out to say it was because of low stock not popularity. Any research proves them wrong

I'm hearing some stores got 2% of what they asked for. If you are a shop that relies on big releases (like many of the mtg shops do) and you get told you can have 2% of what you asked for, that's got to be taking 10s of thousands from your pocket. It's almost like gw is doing this on purpose to destabilize independent stores.
