I actually think the Covid Conscious are amazing people. It takes a lot of strength to survive in a world that is almost wholly against you. Sticking to your guns and continuing to share what you know to be real.

This needs to be engraved on the national Trump memorial.

I'm regularly told "No one has Covid here" - despite people not testing for it and frequently attending busy indoor events unmasked
5. 50% of Covid cases are ASYMPTOMATIC Without testing, you have no idea who is infected Or what risk you have At an event or gathering or workplace or hospital

Weird. It's almost as if COVID antivaccine conspiracy people are lying liars.
No child deaths have been definitively linked to Covid vaccines, according to a report from the FDA that was quietly made public. nbcnews.com/health/health-ne…

The way people aren’t listening when we say lower covid numbers doesn’t mean we are changing protocols. We are celebrating lower covid levels! Because fewer infections is a good thing, actually!
I don’t think we should relax masking at these numbers. I won’t be changing any of my precautions based on this data. I’m still excited about how low cases are getting

Covid infections can weaken your immune system. That is established science, not speculation. Vaccines did not cause it. Vaccines did not fully stop it. Repeat infections can make it worse. Denying this is not caution or balance, it is science denial. Stop catching Covid. Stop spreading it.

I quit masking a few years ago, bc most people had & I was worried about comments in public tbh (which I’ve yet to receive) I started this year, & honestly, it’s just nice not get sick? I didn’t realize how much I got the cold and flu before masking. It’s so nice!

To be clear, Covid has an acute & a chronic phase. For many, the acute phase can now be relatively ‘mild’, but the chronic phase can continue to inflict all manner of evil on one’s body. Career destroying complications can appear months post-infection, including asymptomatic ones
“I just didn’t want to accept my career was ending so soon because of COVID, because of a virus so out of my control… eventually I got to a point where… 15 months in, I’m still housebound, still mostly bedbound, unable to do most basic things” #LongCovid thesicktimes.org/2026/04/28/…

So many manuscripts I edit these days contain the words "since Covid", "after Covid", "post-Covid", and over and over I am required to note (as part of my fact-checking function) that Covid is not over.
So “Covid” is when you stayed home for a couple weeks 6 years ago, and “after Covid” is when you caught the virus countless times?

My first covid infection 2021. I was 16. I was so unwell. Noticed this rash so took a photo. Now I’m severely chronically ill with multiple conditions and I still notice this rash flare up sometimes. I wish someone had warned me. #longcovid #mcas

This covid lull is continuing to deepen in England. Lowest cases, lowest positivity, lowest hospitalisations. We haven't been at a point like this yet during the pandemic. Good news. And the longer this lasts, the better. Except...
