Today's going to be rough at work. Med reg on take. 20 outstanding to be seen (plus all the med patients stuck in ED cos no beds) plus cardiac arrest bleep and surgical referrals. Longest wait to be seen 9 hours from referral. Ouch. #NHSStrikes #nhs #wintercrisis

So my younger sister has just moved to Melbourne for her FY3 year to work in Paeds A&E.
She’s received her Rota and found shes been allocated shifts on Xmas Day and Boxing Day.

104 days after been fined £90m for dumping sewage into the environment and less than 12 hours after Gov voted to protect water companies and not our rivers, @SouthernWater were dumping sewage at 60, yes 60, different locations along the south coast of England.
