This week, we would like to introduce our customer's research that highlights the therapeutic potential of targeting the miR-485-3p/PGC-1α pathway in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Modulation of the miR-485-3p/PGC-1α Pathway by ASO-Loaded Nanoparticles Attenuates ALS Pathogenesis doi.org/10.3390/ijms27020615 Using ASO-loaded nanoparticles to inhibit miR-485-3p, the researchers observed improvements in mitochondrial function, reduced neuroinflammation, reservation of motor neurons, and decreased serum NfL levels. JS Link participated in this study through NfL ELISA analysis, providing quantitative measurements of neurofilament light chain levels for evaluation of the therapeutic approach in the mouse model.
