Our record snowpack is a welcome relief from drought – but we still need to rely on water conservation to stretch our precious water supply. All Utahns should fix leaks, irrigation systems and consider replacing nonfunctional grass. Turf buybacks are statewide once again! We’ve conserved billions of gallons of water – let’s keep the momentum going!

If you’re wondering, we’ve currently received more snow water equivalent than ‘83, ‘84 & 2011 but those years had amazing late March/April totals. We are currently behind ‘97, but that year had fewer spring storms. Still, multiple storms in the forecast! (This is one to remember)

Our teams are responsible for repairing and maintaining the public system, which ends after the water passes through your water meter. Customers who create a MyWater account can opt to receive text alerts for detected system anomalies. mywater.jvwcd.org #Fixaleak, #SaveH20

When our teams began creating our MyWater program, we envisioned being able to find and resolve customer water management issues quickly. Samantha was spared a large water bill and property damage by her problem being discovered, and remedied, quickly. #fixaleak, #watersmart
Even small leaks can add up to a lot of water waste over time. Download the full Leak Detection Guide on our website to learn how to determine if you have a "continuous flow" (aka: leak) in your home water system. @SlowTheFlowUT @UTAHSavesH2O bit.ly/3Y4Wbfl

⚠️ RUMOR CONTROL! PLEASE SHARE.⚠️
The rumor of an immanent larger earthquake is incorrect. While anything is possible, it’s unlikely. Our experts, along with experts from @USGS, indicate the probability of another 5.0 magnitude earthquake in the next week is relatively low. #utquake
