scanimage install update: it loads! and even talks to the old ASI MS-2000. 😀 Now to re-build the scope(s)... how many 2p's should I set up?
2
scanimage install update: I've been saving snapshots with Clonezilla and uploading to OSF in an effort to avoid tying up anyone from IT if this goes awry. They've got enough to do helping to get us all ready for remote learning!

Did my first in person scope/makerspace training of the pandemic yesterday. Want to say thank you to those in @CanBioImage @BioimagingNA @RoyalMicroSoc who organized such informative meetings about how to deal with these challenges earlier this year.

scanimage install update: there are some nice things about using a (more) recent computer, but I can't see this working without a couple of these. 👇

scanimage install update: NIDAQ card in PC and seems to be working! 😃 Next step: download scanimage! (next next step: test ASI MS-2000...) (next next next step ... ummm rebuild the whole 2p scope?)
3
scanimage setup continued: after just a little work with tin snips and hack saws, the NIDAQ PCI-6110 card just fit right in... 🤞

Trying to wrap my head around this... so maybe no 3p?
This is cool. Instead of trying to make an image, just take the speckles you get and assign them to neurons using non-negative matrix factorization. Ignore the CMOS, DMD, etc. under the sample. That's just to generate a known ground truth. The method only needs the sCMOS on top.
