Hiya everyone. Some will know and some won’t but I’m the person behind the flags in south west terrace at the Arms park.
Always look at getting new ones down every now and then.
For the 150th year of the club. I really wanted to design a flag that will help people that cannot attend next season whether that’s because they live far away from Cardiff or they are no longer with us.
I want to design a flag and give everyone who wants to be included or wants a name of a person who’s no longer with us added to the flag.
I’m unsure on what I’m gonna do design wise yet. But I’ve got a few ideas in my head.
This club and everyone involved is very special to me and it’s been life changing over the past few seasons.
I really wanted to come up with an idea that could bring the supporters who can’t be involved next season a chance to have that small little part.
Comment below if you’re interested in adding your name to the flag or want to add a name of someone else.

✅ Nearly half the cash goes straight to large chains. McDonald's gets £400m.

Floating bus stops: And now disabled people in #Edinburgh are being disadvantaged: "I don’t feel the council or the designers care, or that they’re interested. They should automatically have to think about disabled people in the built environment." I agree edinburghlive.co.uk/news/edi…
My own experience of trying to get answers to dreadful mistakes from the NHS almost destroyed my sanity. Avoidance, control, lack of care, false promises of learning, negligible candour. My heart goes out to these families. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy8d…
A complaints process should exist to uncover facts correct mistakes, and provide accountability where appropriate not merely to manage dissatisfaction or protect institutional reputations. When the public perceives that the process primarily shields organisations from scrutiny, trust in the system rapidly erodes. For a complaints mechanism to be credible, it must be demonstrably independent, transparent, and capable of delivering outcomes that people can see and understand. Otherwise, it risks being viewed as a procedural exercise rather than a genuine avenue for justice or redress. Ultimately, public confidence depends on people believing that complaints will be assessed fairly, evidence will be considered impartially, and institutions are willing to correct their own failures. Without that, calls for substantial reform become increasingly difficult for governments and political parties to ignore.

When individuals have genuine grievances complaints, or disputes and feel they are being ignored passed between departments or trapped in endless processes, confidence in both politicians and institutions quickly erodes. People want solutions, not just explanations of procedure. Trust is difficult to maintain when people feel their problems are acknowledged but never actually resolved. From the public’s perspective, success is measured by outcomes, not by the number of meetings held, reports written or promises made. Ultimately, people tend to judge governments and public bodies by a simple standard: when something goes wrong, are they willing and able to fix it? When the answer appears to be “no,” dissatisfaction is almost inevitable.

What's most amazing is it's been known how dangerous these bus stops are since they first were rolled out. Yet they keep being rolled out. Doesn't matter if you can't think of a better solution. Don't make things unsafe for some in the name of safety for others.
Democracy relies on more than voting every few years. It relies on elected officials being willing to hear uncomfortable issues, address legitimate concerns, and engage with the people they represent. When citizens feel they are being dismissed rather than heard, trust in both politicians and institutions inevitably suffers. For many people, the frustration is not simply that their preferred solution is rejected it’s the feeling that the issue itself is being treated as unworthy of attention. That can be far more damaging to public confidence than an honest disagreement.

Long past time for Cardiff Council to review the ones it installed here …representation at the highest level has been made by those most in danger but there is no public response
Leeds City Council says it's currently "making alterations" to three of these new floating bus stops in Headingley "after getting feedback from road users".
They've also "commissioned an independent review of bus stop infrastructure."

On 17 June, a First Tier Tribunal will decide whether the ICO was right in its decision not to force the PO to disclose its secret Horizon Shortfall Scheme Case Assessment Principles and Case Assessment Guidance. A previous thread, below, includes the original ICO reasoning:
Referring to the Horizon Scandal as a ‘shocking abuse’ & ‘massive Government error’ the PAC this week pressed DBT’s Carl Creswell to fully investigate where the money went which was paid by SPMs to balance non-existent shortfalls:
