BREAKING: For the first time in history the MN Senate voted to ban sale of assault-type weapons and high capacity magazines. The vote was 34-33 along party lines with all Democrats in favor, GOP against. The bill also includes funding for school safety and mental health programs.

By demolishing Section 2 of the VRA, SCOTUS has opened the floodgates for racial gerrymandering, with the Louisiana GOP among the first to pursue new maps to preserve their own power. @DLCC stands with Louisiana Dems in their fight against Republicans' actions to suppress votes.

Those keeping track, yesterday Scott Presler rallied in Indiana for gerrymanding and later today he will be in Virginia rallying against redistricting.

JUST IN: Democrats tonight have flipped a GOP-held state House seat in Florida. And not just any seat: This is the district that contains Mar-a-Lago. (It voted for Trump by 11% in 2024). That's right: Trump will now be represented by a Democrat, Emily Gregory, in Tallahassee.

Trump and Robert Mueller were born two years apart, both into wealthy families and both with private school upbringings. Trump received five draft deferments during Vietnam and became a parasitic real estate baron. Mueller volunteered for service, graduated from Officer Candidate School and Ranger School, was wounded in combat, and received a Bronze Star w/ Valor for rescuing one of his wounded soldiers under intense enemy fire. And that pretty much crystallizes both the difference between the two and Trump's toxic jealousy toward Mueller.
