I’m living proof it’s perfectly fine to smile on the subway, however, one must be a master of not making eye contact while doing this. I’m usually smiling because a good song came on my playlist, or I thought of something random/funny, or a slice of pizza is at the next stop.

I have a lot to say about design right now but not sure where is best to say it. The high-level version is I’m seeing the best UX work is happening in-house. The space to be reflective and focus on process is like a breath of fresh air, oxygen finally back in my lungs, thankful.

Haven’t really tweeted since Twitter became X. I don’t want to start a blog, but I’m not sure what this is anymore. That’s it. That’s the tweet (the X?). Finally updated the app. Icon shows “X.” Vibes feel off. Maybe I’ll warm up to it. I dunno. Le sigh.

Observed weird UX: 1) TWTR when you want to offer support to someone and the replies are disabled for people they don't follow; okay then. 2) LinkedIn is all like, "Lead the convo and turn your comment into a post (CTA)" — is that asserting dominance? Really, I'm good w/ comment

The curve of growth with AI tools is exponential. Now that it’s out in the wild, we’ll see rapid innovation. For design of appearance models, we’ll see streamlined automation. For experiences, a human touch will remain essential to listen and orchestrate with intent.
