On behalf of @kscorn and farmers across the nation we thank @RepMann for his unwavering support of E15! Tracey is a long time friend and fierce advocate for agriculture!
The House just passed year-round E15 in the House. This means more choices at the pump for Americans, stronger markets for Kansas agriculture, and more certainty for our energy producers. This is a major win for American consumers and agricultural producers.

On behalf of @kscorn and farmers across the nation, we greatly appreciate @RepDavids support for year-round E15 and garnering support from your colleagues!
BIG news for Kansas drivers and farmers: the House just passed my year-round E15 bill! ⛽🌽 That means lower costs at the pump, more support for Kansas agriculture, and stronger American energy independence. Now the Senate must get this done too.

On behalf of @kscorn we greatly appreciate your leadership on E15, Congressman! For everyone out there, don't believe the opposition from random trolls! This legislation is not a mandate, it simply fixes outdated regulations to allow for year round E15 sales. Fuel retailers will have the CHOICE to offer it and consumers will have the CHOICE to purchase it! With high fuel prices now, it's a GREAT choice!
I strongly support year-round E15. It’s a game changer for Kansan farmers and our biofuels industry. The House is expected to vote on it next week, and I look forward to backing it. This would be an important step forward and a big win for our producers.

USGBC and member representatives from the ethanol industry recently met with counterparts in Portugal and the United Kingdom to develop demand for U.S. ethanol for on-road use and sustainable aviation fuel. Pictured at the National Laboratory of Energy and Geology in Lisbon are USGBC Regional Ethanol Manager for the European Union, U.K. and Canada Stephanie Larson (rightmost); USGBC Regional Ethanol Consultant Alberto Carmona (second from right); POET Vice President of Corporate Affairs Doug Berven (third from right); and Kansas Corn CEO Josh Roe (fourth from right). Great day on the range at the Kansas 4H Shooting Sports BB, Air Rifle and Pistol State Match. Riley/Pott took 2nd in BB and Will won the Junior Division. Super proud of these kids. Look for a club in your area if you have 8-16 year olds, great life lessons!

Many in person meetings with @GovLauraKelly, her staff, and great partners with @RenewKansas and dozens of emails. The admin knows this simple action would provide certainly and allow @kscorn to recruit additional stations. But once again this administration turns it back on KS ag and consumers.
After initially joining, Kansas later backed out b/c Missouri wasn’t part of the E15 bloc, while Gov. Kelly said she would rejoin if Missouri did. Missouri did. Yet year after year, Kansas didn’t rejoin. Then, as recently as late Feb 2026, the Governor suggested Kansas would opt out if Congress didn’t act by yesterday. She didn’t. Now Kansas fuel retailers are left again w/o certainty on whether they’ll be able to sell E15 in summer 2027, certainty Gov. Kelly could have secured with the stroke of a pen. It unfortunately means station growth will stall & consumers will pay more for fuel. With today’s high fuel prices, state of our farm economy, bushels matter & gallons of biofuels like ethanol matter. This didn’t have to happen.

E15 fuel economy back center stage. Here are MPG results from California testing. Average loss was 1.3% but note some saw MPG gain! The fuel is averaging a national discount of 8% today. Your cost per mile goes down with E15 - there is no debate. Add ethanol - octane goes up, cost goes down.

Great day in Topeka today with the KS Senate passing the ethanol tax credit bill 38-1! I didn’t have it on my bingo card that a tax credit for the purchase of gun safes would be amended! However, as a shooting sports instructor that teaches firearm safety to youth, I can get behind that! Special thanks to our partners at @RenewKansas and of course Senator @CarynTysonKS, Chair of the Senate Tax Committee for hearing and carrying the legislation. Looking forward to working with the house to get this across the line!

Kansas corn farmers need markets—and they need them now. The Kansas Corn Growers Association appreciates Representatives Tracey Mann and Sharice Davids voting in favor of the Farm Bill in the House Agriculture Committee this week. But we remain frustrated by the continued lack of progress toward year-round access to E15. At a time when farm country is facing serious economic pressure, expanding access to E15 would create critical demand for corn, strengthen rural economies and provide consumers with a lower-cost fuel option. Last week, Kansas Corn staff and farmer leaders attended the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council’s 23rd International Marketing Conference and 66th Annual Membership Meeting. This winter meeting was focused on working with USGBC’s international staff to develop global market strategy and share feedback from farmers and industry on market concerns and opportunities. Kansas Corn has farmer and staff leaders serving on all seven advisory teams helping guide this work year-round. Their work is not over. Watch for A-Team updates on how we’re building demand for Kansas corn. 🌽

KCGA’s message to our congressional delegation is to vote no on any spending package that does not include year-round E15! I urge farmers to deliver this message as well to your members of Congress! @kscorn

Great conversation with @kiptom on market based policies that can be implemented to benefit agriculture and rural America. Thank you for the opportunity @FarmconConf
KS Corn CEO @JoshDRoe participated in a policy panel this week at FARMCON in Kansas City. Participants included former US Ambassador to the U.N. Food and Ag agencies in Rome, Kip Tom; DCLRS Advisor, Jay Vroom; and Global Sustainability Lead for Corvian, Mark McMahon. Topics included international trade and biofuels policy as well as environmental tax credits and input prices impacting producers and solutions that policymakers provide for farmers.

California gasoline has stayed relatively expensive for this time of year, offering FFV drivers continued savings on E85. This picture is from Riverside, taken yesterday.

We were home this afternoon so Will was able to accomplish his first solo welding project, a ridiculously over built boot scraper for the farm. Built with some scrap angle from a pivot and a 75 year old edge from a v-blade. Don't need him getting used to working with new metal!

🌽 Big win for farmers! MAHA’s new report backs science, with no additional and unnecessary actions against atrazine and glyphosate, two pesticides that help growers control weeds and are vital tools for sustainability practices. 👏 See how KCGA farmer voices made an impact 👉 kscorn.com/2025/09/09/maha-r…

Went to Texas to see my new nephew this weekend. I was holding him during his first ever KSU FB kickoff! He threw up all over me shortly after kickoff, guess he knew what was coming! Told my sister it's fine now but if he does it to me when he's in college I'll tell him he needs to switch to water!
