NEW in the Judge Street Journal: Antonio Reynoso has been an outspoken critic of Israel. But that hasn't scared away AIPAC donors.

Oh, so it's bad to challenge a Dem incumbent in a primary now.
Kind of gross for Bernie to endorse against sitting members of Congress. Bernie is not a Democrat and we should stop treating him like he is.

Is this the 39th or 40th time he’s announced this?

This documentary is the single most inspiring thing I’ve seen in years. @DemocracyNow gets no media industry buzz, but considering the odds & money stacked against it & its enormous reach, it is the greatest media success story of this era — and it’s not particularly close.

I have fought the neocons and warmongers in Washington for more than 25 years. Throughout, they have tried to silence, discredit, slander, and cancel me. Only recently, however, have they tried to deport me. At least, that appears to have been the aim of a hit piece in Bari Weiss’s The Free Press, which claimed that Marco Rubio’s State Department was “investigating” me for allegedly seeking to “undermine the U.S.”—presumably because of my opposition to war with Iran. Yet just hours later, the State Department issued a statement to reporters clarifying that “the State Department has no plans to revoke the green card of Mr. Parsi at this time.” Nor did it provide any confirmation for the central premise of the Free Press story—that an investigation of me existed in the first place. So here’s what I think happened. Read the full piece on my Substack: tritaparsi.substack.com/p/so…

Paramount’s acquisition of Warner was approved. Here is what Larry Ellison wrote after Israeli ambassador to UN asked him to vet Rubio, “Marco will be a great friend for Israel.” Then Ellison put $5 million in Rubio’s super PAC. Gee, I wonder why the merger was approved.

The election is in 11 days. Is he this desperate to keep the AIPAC money flowing?

Just gutter racism. There is no other way to describe it.
Trump: "Guys like me built the country. I watch all these ingrates, they're always complaining, complaining. They didn't build anything, they couldn't build anything. Look at what's happened in Minnesota. Somalia."

So one of the congressmen launching the End Corruption Caucus has received $126,250 from AIPAC?
Corruption has poisoned our politics for too long. @RepAOC, @RepMikeLevin, and I are taking it head on. Working class Americans deserve a political system that answers to them, not the elite.

Genuinely curious if they will allow Dem members who have accepted corporate PAC money into the caucus even though they list removing corporate PAC money from politics as one of their priorities at the end of the video.

This is beautiful
To everyone so eager to cancel someone for a tattoo they got at age 22, a drunk text, a selfie they took in the middle of a mental health crisis: Show us your laptop. Show us your iCloud. Open your entire digital life to your worst enemy. No context. No filter. No explanation. You won’t. You won’t because you know what I know. Any one of us, frozen at our worst moment, photographed in our lowest hour, looks like a monster. Looks like a stranger. Looks like someone who deserves to be cast out. That is not who we are. My mom and baby sister were killed in a car accident when I was just a kid. Cancer took my brother Beau, my best friend and my rock. I battled alcoholism. I battled addiction. I chose the coward’s way out more times than I can count. For years I believed the defining chapters of my life were written by tragedy, loss, and shame. I no longer believe that. Pain can shape us. Loss can humble us. Failures can leave scars that never fully fade. But none of them have the authority to define us. And it sure as hell ain’t the critic that counts. That authority belongs to us alone-the person in the arena. Every setback presents a choice. Play the victim, or cut the bullshit and take ownership for who we become next. Life does not determine our character. It reveals it. Again and again we are asked the same question. When shit happens, what next? We are not defined by what happened to us. We are not defined by the worst photo, the worst text, the worst tattoo, the worst night. We are defined by the person we choose to become. And by the courage to choose that person, every single day. So before you reach for the gavel - show us your laptop. You won’t. The whole world saw mine. And I am still here. Still becoming. Still choosing. Still standing. That is the only definition that matters.

DC insiders view politics as an intellectual exercise. They’re too far removed to understand the tangible costs felt by working people on the ground. That’s why members see no problem making their chamber one big friend group—they see Congress as a high school debate conference.
You don’t hate Congress enough
