He presents the overtly bigoted macho chuds as having a certain honesty and are thus truly horrified by Ozymandias. While the milquetoast liberal characters are shameless and cowardly. Using their good views as security blankets while they take no action.

In the early days of generative AI I remember many artists painting deformed hands with too many fingers as part of their anti-AI agitprop, and my reaction was that they were not taking the real threat of AI seriously.
Of course the finger problem was solved within 6 months...
was not prepared for how insistently ai haters would argue that the visual quality was never the point
did i hallucinate a decade of discourse around what makes ai-generated imagery ugly slop?
we seem to have silently crossed a chasm in public opinion
