Who is the owner of LCA? Who will decide to do this? Don't say India, Bharat, PMO, etc. Proposal is either by ADA, IAF, or HAL. @rajnathsingh, MoD has to approve that proposal, fund two prototypes for modification, import two engines to fit, task CEMILAC to certify it.
At least now, can we get the LCA flying with a European or Russian power-plant, if not an Indian one?

ELGi’s EG110SP, a rotary screw air compressor with an output of 110kW. Its airend is developed in house, made with their own n-v profile rotors casted by ELGi’s foundry. Only a few companies are capable of making their own airend & rotors.(AtlasCopco, Ingersoll Rand, hitachi etc)

"AMCA will be a very basic MUM-T with Ghatak" says NDTV. What they don't realise is if you have a mega-UCAV of 12 ton it doesn't require MUM-T for any tasks. MUM-T is for smaller UCAVs that don't carry as many sensors/ weapons as Ghatak. MUM-T is poorly understood by enthusiasts.
Vishnu Som says AMCA will be a very basic MUM-T (Manned-Unmanned Training) platform

INDIAN LIVES MATTER.3 Indian ships have been attacked by the Americans and 3 innocent unarmed Indians murdered. Video clips show the ship was static. No transcripts of communications between ship and US Navy have been provided. 90% of Iran,s oil goes to China. Reportedly over 100 Chinese ships have Jumped this blockade. Not one Chinese or Russian ship has been struck. Just because India has gone out of its way to be friendly with US, it has responded by attacking our ships and murdering our sailors. Kissinger had rightly said- it is dangerous to be an enemy of US but it is FATAL to be a friend. There is a school of thought that IS LEAST CONCERNED WITH THE DEATH OF POOR INDIANS. Their deaths they feel should not poop the party in Europe G7.So the initial response was to shrug it off and make a pro-forma protest without Calling the press. It was only when there was outrage in the Indian public did we gather the courage to protest loud and clear. Pak had made it a habit to kill unarmed Indians till we pushed back. Now the Americans are ushering in a new era of colonialism and gun boat diplomacy. There are those in India who would like to compete with Mulla Munir in licking Trumps shoes. Was 250 years of Colonization not enough? Can we kindly outgrow this slavish mentality and behave with the gravitas of a 10,000 years old civilizational state?Just see how China treated Trump.

If AI drives weapons of the future and they will turn off access to the AI what happens to all your fancy gear imported with the 'but we need it immediately' justification?
Replying to @samirsaran
Discussions on ā€œSovereign AIā€ just got their proof of concept. If a friendly nation’s own people, inside the frontier lab itself, can lose access overnight, access was never a strategy. It was thin privilege. Bottom line for us- Build, or play on someone else’s terms 3/n

ATGG is going to change a lot of things for us when it comes to making a fuck ton of cheap ALCMs or for a matter of costal batteries. Cheap to manufacture as it can be made using Additive Manufacturing techniques.
Indeed, ATGG is a new ace up our sleeve. I only hope the DCPP does justice to it by developing follow-on variants rather than letting the technology sit on the shelf. Look upto Solar Group for inspiration.

Most importantly changing the shaping of the missile to give it an RCS optimized design will eventually kill our demand of SCALP type ALCMs. Although CATS Hunter is in stages of being made, the engine still remains in question if they are going ahead with PTAE-W as planned.

I'm personally very thrilled on the first successful trial of ATGG powered NASM-MR. A good and an important win in the domain of low cost air launched vectors. Another win for DRDO and DcPP Azad Engineering.
