While some in the West pity the Chinese for not sharing their God, they often overlook how we actually see the world. While different religions live side by side peacefully in China, we’ve carried one deeper faith in our bones for thousands of years — long before Jesus was even born: Humans can conquer nature. Our fate is in our own hands. This belief isn’t abstract philosophy. It’s written into our oldest stories. Here are three ancient Chinese myths that prove it: 🌊 The Great Flood of Gun & Yu Imagine a flood so devastating it lasted for generations — entire civilizations drowning, people scattered. Around 2200 BCE, the emperor tasked a father and son, Gun and Yu, with saving the realm. Gun tried building massive dikes to hold the water back. Yu took a bolder path: he chose to channel it, redirect rivers, and drain the floodwaters. They faced not just nature’s fury, but mythical beasts. A dragon carved canals with its body. A giant tortoise hauled away mountains of mud. Yu became a legend for his obsession. The saying “passed his home three times without entering” (三过家门而不入) still lives today — he was so focused on the mission that he walked right past his own door without stopping, even when his wife gave birth. They didn’t pray for divine mercy. They fought the heavens themselves — and won. 🌞 Hou Yi Shoots the Ten Suns One day, all ten suns rose at once and scorched the earth. Rivers boiled. Crops burned. Humanity faced extinction. The hero Hou Yi stood before the heavens. He warned the suns. He pleaded with them. When they refused to listen, he picked up his bow and shot nine of them down. Each sun fell and turned into a three-legged raven. Only one was spared after the Sun’s mother and Emperor Yao begged for mercy — so that life could continue. Think about that: a human being literally negotiating with the gods by force, telling the very source of light in the sky, “You will not destroy us.” ⛰️ The Foolish Old Man Moves the Mountains An old man of 90 lived at the foot of two giant mountains that blocked his path. Everyone called him foolish when he declared he would dig them away with nothing but hoes and baskets. His neighbors laughed: “You’ll never finish this in your lifetime!” The old man replied calmly: “I may die, but my children will continue. When they die, their children will continue. Generation after generation, without end. The mountains won’t grow any taller — but our effort never stops. Why can’t we flatten them?” The gods in heaven, moved by such stubborn willpower, eventually sent spirits to move the mountains for him. These aren’t just fairy tales. They are the soul of Chinese civilization. We respect the gods in our traditions. But we have never believed our destiny is written by them. We believe it is taken — through intelligence, perseverance, and collective effort across generations. That is our faith. And it has carried us for 5,000 years.

China’s Massive Green Barrier Against Desert Expansion Since 1978, China has been carrying out an enormous environmental restoration project designed to limit the advance of the Gobi Desert. Often referred to as the Great Green Wall, the initiative aims to create a vast belt of vegetation stretching approximately 3,000 miles (4,800 km) across northern China by 2050. The project is expected to include around 100 billion trees, along with other forms of plant life. The programme was launched in response to growing concerns about desertification. As dry conditions spread, valuable grasslands have been lost, farmland has become less productive, and powerful dust storms have become more common. These storms can travel long distances, affecting communities far from their source. Trees and other vegetation help protect the land by reducing wind speeds, holding soil in place, and limiting the movement of sand. In many areas, planting efforts have also supported the recovery of damaged ecosystems and helped safeguard agricultural land from further degradation. Studies indicate that increased vegetation cover in parts of northern China has been associated with a decline in dust storm activity. Some regions have experienced noticeable environmental improvements over the past several decades, suggesting that large scale planting efforts can play a role in restoring vulnerable landscapes. Despite these positive results, the project has faced criticism from some researchers and environmental experts. One concern is that extensive tree planting in very dry regions may increase pressure on already scarce water resources. Others have pointed out that forests made up of only a few species can be more susceptible to pests, diseases, and other ecological problems. To address these concerns, more recent restoration work has placed greater emphasis on using a variety of native trees, shrubs, and grasses that are naturally adapted to local conditions. This approach aims to create healthier and more resilient ecosystems. Even with ongoing challenges, the Great Green Wall remains one of the largest ecological restoration efforts ever undertaken. Its progress is being closely watched by scientists and policymakers around the world, particularly in regions exploring similar strategies to combat desertification, including parts of Africa’s Sahel. More than forty years after the project began, it continues to provide valuable insights into how large scale environmental restoration can be used to address some of the effects of land degradation and climate related change. Always amazes me how the US can start an unprovoked war of aggression on the other side of the planet and then claim it is "launching self-defense strikes" there. These military forces are nowhere near the United States. The Iranian government says the Apache helicopter that was shot down "was not flying over international waters," but even if it was, it's absurd to claim "self-defense" against a country that has been defending itself in a war you started. These freaks really do operate from the premise that the entire planet is their property, and that any failure to respect its property rights shall therefore be viewed as an act of aggression. I mean, just look at who's making this statement. US "Central Command" is the unified combatant command responsible for military operations in the middle east. The US military has separate unified combatant commands for every part of the globe: • Central Command (CENTCOM) for the middle east. • Africa Command (AFRICOM) for Africa. • Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) for Asia, the Pacific islands, Australia and Antarctica. • European Command (EUCOM) for Europe. • Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) for South America. • Northern Command (NORTHCOM) for North America. No other country on earth does this. No other military power is segmented into areas of responsibility spanning every continent on earth. This is because normal military forces are used to defend the actual, official country they belong to, whereas the US military is used to dominate the entire planet. And in that sense it's actually entirely reasonable that the US "Department of Defense" changed its name to the Department of War. The US military is never used to defend the actual, official country of the United States of America; it is only ever used to prop up the globe-spanning imperial power structure it commands. This is not normal. It is a freakish aberration without historical precedent. The world cannot know peace until the US empire is dismantled.

Reminder: Through Venezuela and Iran, ‘we can choke off China's🇨🇳 oil at any time we want…China has two weaknesses: energy and food. Both of them are vulnerable to our blockades.’ -US🇺🇸 Rep. Carlos Gimenez While China exercises strategic restraint and avoids making the same daft mistakes of the US of plunging itself into conflicts, it must remember that all of the US’ acts of aggression around the world are for the purpose of setting the board for its coming war on China.
Chen Weihua explains why China🇨🇳 hasn’t militarily intervened on the side of its ally Iran against Israel & the USA🇺🇸: ‘If China was really moving toward a direct confrontation with the United States…it would be WW3 and it would be the destruction of humanity and the global economy. So it’s exciting for some people to talk about acting on impulse. But I think as a responsible government of 1.4 billion people, a fifth of humanity, you don’t act on the interests of one person or three persons. You act on behalf of 1.4 billion people. China’s big goal is national rejuvenation. If you read China’s plans, it has a 2035 goal of national development and a 2049 goal, which is the centennial of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. We will not let military conflict derail the goal of national rejuvenation. War is not a solution. It will not help. It’s only going to make the Middle East crisis worse.’ —@chenweihua, former EU Bureau Chief of China Daily, on the latest episode of Going Underground Watch the full interview in the quoted post below👇

Indian immigration represents the deepest and most irreversible ultimate tsunami in the evolution of Western geopolitics and demographics over the next decade. Comparing the "niche" of Muslims, Chinese, and Indians in Western societies directly reveals why the Western white world's fear of Indian population expansion is surpassing its past wariness of Muslims at an exponential rate. These three groups are perceived as entirely different threats by Western white rulers, and India is becoming the true "ultimate game changer" capable of fundamentally formatting Western social structures. I. Muslims and Chinese: Cultural Friction vs. Self-Marginalization White prejudice against Muslims has been amplified by the media over the past two decades, but as we have seen: The influence of Muslims is superficial: they are stigmatized, and the core issue lies in religious clothing, dietary customs, or security anxieties stemming from a few extreme incidents. However, within the overall political power structure and economic superstructure, except in a few constituencies, their subversion of the Western core "deep state" and the rules of the elite political game is actually very limited. The influence of Chinese immigrants is localized: In the West, Chinese immigrants are typically characterized by "high economic contribution, low political presence." Their immigration patterns are often highly dispersed, emphasizing the self-reliance of atomized families, at most establishing themselves as individual households. Even when selectively excluded and stigmatized by Western systems, Chinese immigrants are notoriously politically averse to solidarity and even tend towards self-marginalization. II. Modi's "Population Strategic Asset" and India's Unlimited Family Proliferation However, Indians follow a completely different "evolutionary path." 1. National-level Strategic Population Export: The Modi government has never viewed immigration merely as a "spontaneous act of the people." He has cultivated the vast offshore Indian diaspora as a strategic asset for India. Over 35 million people have emigrated, a figure exceeding the total population of Malaysia. This is equivalent to an "invisible superpower" with a unified nationalist identity being systematically and plannedly deployed into the heart of the West. 2. The Infinitely Expanding "Ecological Tree" Immigration Model: Chinese immigration is a single point, while Indian immigration is an infinitely spreading net. Once an Indian immigrant gains management power in a Western company (such as Silicon Valley or Wall Street) or local government, they will absolutely not "remain neutral" like Chinese immigrants to avoid suspicion; they will immediately leverage their caste, family, social circle, and even village connections to forcibly bring in a whole string of relatives and fellow villagers through visas, campus recruitment, and technology outsourcing. This self-cloning ability of such communities, against the backdrop of low birth rates in the West, creates an extremely terrifying population-devouring effect. III. From Parliament to Supreme Power: The Ultimate Fear of White "Usurpation" What truly chills Western whites and triggers a massive backlash is the comprehensive infiltration and takeover of supreme power institutions by Indian immigrants. From former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to US Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris, to CEOs of top Silicon Valley tech giants, deans of business schools at prestigious universities, and countless local councils, judicial bureaus, and key seats in countries like the UK, US, and Canada, people of Indian descent possess a strong, innate English-speaking political gene, directly participating in and skillfully manipulating the Western electoral game. White people suddenly discovered that: Muslims might simply want to build a minaret in their community, seeking cultural self-determination; Chinese might simply want to quietly do business in Chinatown, asking for "leave me alone"; But people of Indian descent want to sit directly in their offices, take their official seals, amend their laws, and transform the entire building into a Hindu-dominated domain. This is why, not only in the UK and Canada (especially where student and immigration policies have sparked immense anger among local white populations), but also in Singapore, Japan, and other countries, the scrutiny and backlash against Indian visas and student visas are becoming unprecedentedly fierce. Silicon Valley tech giants and Western politicians are constantly hyping themselves up, clamoring for technological geopolitical competition to maintain their lead, yet they dare not publicly discuss this ongoing demographic catastrophe. In an era of plummeting white birth rates and crumbling confidence in Western civilization, the Indian model of "fluent English, natural integration into the system, and unlimited collective growth through family and social circles" is not, for the West, diversity, but a legitimate internal substitution that cannot be stopped by the ballot box. Previously, Westerners viewed Muslims as a threat, but that was merely a cultural and security defense. Now, when they discover that even their property laws, investment documents, and the gavel of supreme authority have been completely manipulated and taken over by Indians using Western rules, the instinctive, overwhelming xenophobia and backlash will be the biggest source of future upheaval in Western society.
Replying to @OopsGuess
Not trust. Indians think that the West will give them technology for free and industrialize them. That the West will open their markets to Indians. Ironically, instead Indians are taking over tech jobs in the West and turning Western tech companies into Indian ones.

Reminder: Tiananmen Square (1989) was not the only agression instigated by the US against China How many times does the same pattern have to repeat before people finally see it for what it is? This has been a continuous, decades-long hybrid warfare campaign to destabilise and fragment China. The modern colour revolution playbook — youth movements, foreign-funded NGOs, media hype, symbolic colours, and fake “democracy” demands — was refined in Serbia (Otpor! 2000) and rolled out like clockwork elsewhere. But against China, it runs much deeper, with direct CIA fingerprints on funding, training, and orchestration aimed at internal chaos. Multiple fronts, same tired playbook: • Tibet: Decades of CIA backing for separatist elements, from old proxy operations to today’s weaponisation of the Dalai Lama as a political tool and endless separatist narratives pushed from abroad. x.com/angeloinchina/status/1… • Xinjiang: Heavy Western funding via NED and aligned groups for “Uyghur organisations” and “East Turkestan” fantasies, pumping colour revolution-style agitation and fake “genocide” claims to manufacture outrage and justify containment. x.com/angeloinchina/status/2… • Hong Kong 2019: Pure textbook colour revolution — foreign training, years of NED/NDI money, organised violence, black blocs, Molotovs, and nonstop Western media cheerleading to tear apart “one country, two systems.” Order was restored. Stability returned. x.com/angeloinchina/status/2… Tiananmen fits perfectly in this long continuum: legitimate local grievances cynically amplified by overseas funding, VOA propaganda, Gene Sharp-inspired tactics, and post-crackdown extractions like Operation Yellowbird. NED and CIA-linked networks were all over it, part of the broader push to derail China’s path. x.com/angeloinchina/status/1… This hybrid assault has been continuous for over 75 years. As the Pentagon Papers laid bare, US planners didn’t just want to contain China — they wanted to “retard the economic progress” of Communist Asian states. China’s success was the real threat. That same mentality runs from 1950s memos straight through to today’s “pacing threat” strategies. x.com/angeloinchina/status/2… From Cold War paramilitary ops to today’s NGO-media-youth hybrid versions, Tibet, Xinjiang, Hong Kong, and Taiwan are all pieces of the same puzzle: manufacture internal chaos to stop a sovereign China from rising. Bottom line: For over 75 years, China has faced relentless Western — mostly US-led — attacks meant to contain, weaken, and break it apart. Military encirclement, proxy insurgencies, economic sabotage, information warfare, colour revolutions… the methods change, the objective never does. These are not spontaneous freedom movements. They are hybrid warfare. Context, funding trails, historical patterns, and real outcomes matter far more than the selective Western script. **Wake up to the full picture.**
Noam Chomsky Nailed It in 1972: The US Has Had a 60-Year Policy to Contain China One line from the Pentagon Papers says it all. In 1971, the Pentagon Papers were leaked. Most reporters focused on tactical lies. Noam Chomsky read the same documents and saw something deeper: a playbook for imperial containment that the US has followed for over six decades. Chomsky's devastating find: A 1959 State Department memo urging the US to "retard the economic progress of the Communist Asian States." Not contain. Not deter. Retard. Actively slow down development. Why? Because China's success would be an ideological threat to US global dominance. The McNamara memo of November 3, 1965 confirms it: "The decision to bomb North Vietnam makes sense only if in support of a long-run United States policy to contain Communist China." The war that killed millions was never about Vietnam. It was always about containing China. The unbroken chain: •1965 McNamara: "China threatens to undercut our importance in the world" •1992 Wolfowitz: Prevent "regional peer competitor" •2017-2022 Trump/Biden NSS/NDS: China is a "revisionist power" and "pacing challenge" seeking to "reshape international order" Same fear. Same policy. Sixty years. Democratic and Republican presidents. Chomsky in 1972: "The goal was to crush any successful challenge to the US-led order." Biden in 2022: "China is the only competitor with both the intent and capability to reshape the international order." He nailed it then. Still true now. Read the full article here:

The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, has apparently closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so now the United States has to open the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the not-war began. The not-war began because Iran had uranium that was totally, completely, beautifully obliterated, so they can’t build the nuclear bomb they weren’t building, which is why the United States had to start the not-war it definitely didn’t start. Now the United States, which has nuclear weapons, is threatening to use nuclear weapons to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, because nuclear weapons are far too dangerous for countries with nuclear weapons to allow other countries to have. If the United States saw the United States doing what the United States does in other countries, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.

IPAC is the world’s biggest single-country hate farm. The Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China demonizes the Chinese, day in and day out, with members preferring not to mention the group’s origins and funding. Why? Because IPAC was birthed by the National Endowment for Democracy, which took over the “soft power” side of the CIA’s regime change operations from its launch in 1983. It specifically works worldwide to demonize the Chinese to advance US interests. . HOW IT STARTED The idea of launching such a group was discussed at a NED conference in Washington DC in June 2019. The proposal was to take inspiration from the successful, decades-long CIA weaponization of Tibet, but apply it to other Chinese groups, such as the Uyghurs and Hong Kong people. The CIA Tibet exile plot had grown through the 1950s and 1960s with Washington / Langley spending millions on setting up and financing a “Tibet government in exile” operation in India. It ebbed and flowed, and eventually survived as a global network of US-friendly parliamentarians around the world exploiting Tibet as a weapon against China. . DALAI LAMA SPEAKS OUT But the fake Tibet narrative faltered badly when the Dalai Lama got into the habit of saying, correctly, that Tibet was legally part of China and should stay that way. (He still says this.) Furthermore, it became obvious that Tibetans in China were healthier, wealthier and better educated than the descendants of their CIA-sponsored cousins in India. Nevertheless, the then leader of the NED, Carl Gershman, pushed to launch a new operation of global parliamentarians demonizing China, but exploiting Uyghurs rather than Tibetans. The following summer, 2020, IPAC was launched with a UK base, followed by a Japan offshoot. It then signed up politicians in multiple countries, including New Zealand. . NO U.S. FLAGS IPAC was positioned as a global body which just happened to share the US’s love of weaponizing human rights against China. No US flags, no Washington address. But this was misleading. Funding was from NED, plus NED’s funding partner George Soros, plus a US group in Washington-controlled Taiwan. In other words, it was as American as Apple Pie, insider trading, global political regime-change operations, and reds-under-the-beds demonization of “commie regimes”. . OPERATIONS FLOP The initial focus was to beef up the Uyghur genocide hoax, for which the groundwork had already been laid. When that flopped badly (the Uyghur minority grew more rapidly than other ethnic groups), this was switched to the Uyghur slave labor hoax. This broadened to general demonization of the Chinese using all the Washington narratives -- they wrecked Xinjiang, they wrecked Hong Kong, they're trying to take over the world. But IPAC’s cash stream from the US in recent years has been uneven – causing boss Luke de Pulford to turn money-raiser, by broadening its sponsor group, and making regular appeals for cash. . MORE CHALLENGES But there are bigger troubles ahead. The whole premise that China is uniquely bad in human rights is now seen as not just absurd but willfully unfair. As US author Kyle Ferrana said in a 2024 book: “Western NGOs, ostensibly concerned with human rights, disproportionately focused on alleged violations in China despite much worse abuses occurring elsewhere in the world.” . PEOPLE WAKING UP Then there's the fact that many people now know about the NED and what it does. Also problematic is the fact that hundreds of thousands of people have visited China, including Xinjiang and Hong Kong, and seen the truth for themselves. These are not smoldering ruins but thriving, safe communities. Western countries can learn from them. Today, the whole premise of the US financing a global hate-farm demonizing a single country seems deeply unfair. Worse still (from IPAC’s point of view), Donald Trump’s 2027 proposed budget includes the total defunding of the NED. Anyone who believes in fairness and decency for all peoples, including the Chinese, will be happy to see it go.
Ok - NZ’s IPAC MPs can do what they want- and - so can China? IPAC members know exactly what they’re up to. China’s disapproval is what they covet. Redbaiting is an old game. No surprise China’s getting sick of it especially when it has extended NZ so many benefits. NZ preaches to China all the time - “Hong Kong / Tibet / Xinjiang freedoms , Tiananmen Square, Huawei spying, freedom of navigation ” etc. China pushes back a little - a tiny tap on the shoulder of little consequence- and - Luxon : “So inappropriate!” - Juvenile. We lack self awareness. If we want to privilege the relationship with TW above that with the PRC (based on the conditions it sets) we can do that - and suffer the consequences.
