We’re celebrating everyday heroes like Robbie 🎉 He joined the NMDP Registry in college & donated 8 years later when he finally got the call. ➡️ "If you're in good health, I implore you to join the registry. You just may save someone's life."– Robbie 🔗 go.nmdp.org/join

The reason I tell people to review their goals three times a day is because it's impossible for a human to make a list of goals, review them three times a day, adjust three times a day and not make progress.

The inductive reasoning of your AI algorithm is something like, "probably, approximately, correct". That is how you get the insanity dictations with current AI. We've been underestimating the practical reasoning skills of the humans.

Thomas Bayes, an 18th-century English mathematician, developed Bayes' Theorem, a method for determining the likelihood of an event based on new information. It's like updating your guess when you learn more. After his death, one of his friends published it based on Bayes' essay.

I registered my senior year of college at @ucdavis. Almost immediately after processing my sample I was asked to be a donor. Unfortunately, that patient never received a transplant. Years later I was a match for another patient in need.

Maybe the craziest call case story I’ve ever heard of. Wow!
Crazy story. I get called for a STEMI but as I exit my neighborhood the exit is blocked by police due to a vehicle fatality. I explain that I'm on my way to an emergency but they said my medical emergency does not "trump" theirs, even though no one was alive. (1/3)
