🚨 Urgent Accessibility Issue with IndusInd Bank Indie App

A visually impaired member of our TechnoFino Community is locked out of his bank account because the Indie app now blocks screen readers like Google TalkBack after the latest Android update. Here's what’s going on 👇
The app now shows this message on login:
“Untrusted screen reader detected. Remove.”
There’s no option to skip or dismiss it. Pressing OK closes the app. As long as a screen reader is running, the app is completely unusable.
TalkBack is NOT a third-party app.
It's built into Android to help the visually impaired navigate apps.
Blocking it is not just insensitive - it's a violation of:
✅ RBI digital accessibility guidelines
✅ The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016
The user has already contacted:
✅ IndusInd Customer Support
✅ Premium Care
✅ MD’s office
✅ Facebook & Twitter DMs
The replies? Just generic messages. No action. No fix.
No screenshots possible either - because the app blocks that too.
A disability activist traced the issue to Onespan App Shield, a security layer wrongly configured to treat screen readers as threats.
This isn't just a bug - it's a digital wall against people with disabilities. Unacceptable.
@MyIndusIndBank, please take responsibility.

This is a basic digital right.
Banking is not a luxury - it’s a necessity.
No one should be denied access just because they use assistive technology.
This issue must be resolved urgently. Let’s stand up for inclusive design.
