ALT The scope of this special issue encompasses various aspects of TIR remote sensing applications but is not limited to the following aspects: Technological advancements in satellite, airborne, and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platforms; Advancement in the retrieval of land surface emissivity and land surface temperature. Methodological advancements in TIR data processing; Fusion of TIR data with other remote sensing applications such as LiDAR data and synergistic use of TIR data with other spectral domain data; and Understanding ecosystem processes and changes by means of TIR data.
