Anyone monitoring Belfast violence: were any women spotted among the crowds of those enacting the pogroms of minority families? Or was it all men?

Just a reminder. It was the courts that found your Legacy Act unlawful. Any government would have had to legislate because so much of it was unlawful (and unworkable). There’s so little evidence-based analysis in the current debate. Here is a small plea for some, please.

Whatever your views on Israel/Palestine, Paul Givan went to an illegal settlement and used government resources to promote his visit. The settlement is illegal under international and UK law. Ignore all the noise, that’s what happened. He’d be gone in any other jurisdiction.

One advantage of scrapping AS levels - it would give grammar schools one less excuse to kick students out to fiddle their league table place.

We’d to force an emergency meeting of our local Policing and Community Safety Partnership just to get the PSNI to make actual arrests for illegal vigilante behaviour on Belfast streets, yet here they are in London cracking down on those campaigning for peace. Madness.
BREAKING: Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) are policing the protest against the Palestine Action ban at Trafalgar Square, London. Wouldn't it have made more sense to not arrest peaceful protestors, like other forces have done? Or lift the ban?

This is interesting because in Northern Ireland, even though the UDA & UVF are both banned terrorist organizations, the police will not intervene if you erect flags supporting the UVF or UDA. UK law is not applied equally across the UK or by the PSNI.

It would be really good to see video of Keir Starmer's conference address instead of just the sneering commentary. As the mother of a Covid baby who spent many days of my life trying to get my kid a dentist appointment and waited actual years to get her seen, 700,000 new dentist appointments since Labour have been in power would have had me cheering! It would have had me in tears thinking new parents wouldnt have had to deal with what absolute nonsense

Newspapers online still aren't optimising their video to at least show a decent edit. Im certain they have the talent to do this.

One officer sexually assaulted her. Another wrote her 4600 (!) text messages. She reported it, more than once. And the Army kept protecting the men who abused Jaysley Beck, not her. It's very hard to believe that NOW the Army has "zero tolerance". bbc.com/news/articles/ckgqzx…

Right wing media has had it in for @AngelaRayner from the start - they couldn’t bear a working class woman being so powerful & dynamic. She made a mistake & has paid heavily for it. Hope she’ll return at some point in the future - our politics needs more voices like hers

Thanks to Angela Rayner, zero hours contracts will be banned, no-one will be subject to fire at will, no-one will be able to be fired and rehired, and no-one will lose their private rented home just cos their landlord wants them out. That's quite some legacy. Thank you Angela.

If only Angela Rayner had followed the Telegraph’s advice. Then they might not call her a hypocrite.

Absolutely loving the great people of England not accepting the fleg loonies taking over their country...and could we here in Belfast take some inspiration as our beautiful city is forced to resemble a BNP supporters club all the summer months
Have just witnessed the England flag bombers on the high street of my middle class, wealthy south east commuter town I’m not going to lie. I lost it 1.
