Discipline is not the answer. Our kid’s& young people have been lonely &many have experienced terror &loss &have not had the usual social groups to process these feelings with naturally.Pressure &harshness will cause compliance or rebellion.Both cause long term problems...

Problem with ‘Sweating the small stuff’ as DfE model behaviour management policy when it’s targeted at children living in poverty is the so called ‘small stuff’ like school shoes, equipment, uniform, is actually a big deal when you’re relying on a food bank.
