But can’t see fit to figure out a reasonable payment agreement for Emerg docs to add extra waiting room shifts to SAVE LIVES…

Smith, herself, used those rights to extinguish the claims of 400,000 Alberta pensioners when they wanted to sue AIMco for losing $2.1 billion of their savings in the VOLTS debacle. Smith could use the same powers to extinguish the coal company claims. She just chooses not to.

No system as complex as HC can function, let alone flourish, with over 2 yrs of constant change (with absolutely NO CHANGE MGT PLAN) and the constant disruption of the leadership
this chaos = you will wait in ED WRs for > 11hrs w chest pain, and spend days sitting in chairs

The AHS Chief Medical Officer fired - or let go with no notice and no replacement, "was always part of the plan" they'll likely say.
Soon we'll have no one with operational experience in leadership!

ACA leadership says it has no "operational" function/control.

Just know that the wait times will be MUCH worse than the posted times (something happened to make them less accurate in the last yr)
But a 16hr posted average ED wait time??? That should get any govt fired

OK. I went back and looked.
AB was the first province in Canada to introduce pt-pay access for radiology (CT/MRI). It was done in 1993 and the rationale at the time was that wt lists were too long.

The pro-separatist petition was not “thrust on her”! She ran interference for it from the beginning, from lowering the threshold for signatures to supporting its wording in court. It’s no wonder that no one believes her now. Deeds not words!
