I am nailing Nine Theses to the door of @Wikipedia. This has been my project for the last nine months. There has never been a thoroughgoing Wikipedia reform proposal—this is the first. If it doesn't work, we need to organize an alternative. 🧵

Tesla Robotaxi. I guess this is where the Support staff is located. We can see what they can see. They have access to the camera feed and probably can take over the cars remotely.

Turns out LLM embeddings of OMOP concepts provide better transfer between different EHR databases than the OMOP exchange standard.

A cold start on regulation. Idaho let all regulations expire in 2019. An explicit point had to be made to keep any regulations. Sounds like a great idea!
🇺🇸MEET GOV LITTLE - THE "MILEI" OF IDAHO Gov. Brad Little has led Idaho to cut or simplify over 95% of its regulations since 2019. @DOGE... I'm sure Gov. Little would be happy to help in your mission.... he even has his own chainsaw. How? His “Zero-Based Regulation” approach mandates agencies to justify each regulation, ensuring only essential rules remain. In 2019, Idaho let its entire regulatory code expire—yes, the whole thing. Agencies had to reapply for only the rules they actually needed, tossing out the rest. The result? A state that runs smoother, faster, and leaner—without the bureaucracy strangling progress. Will be interesting to see what the new US administration will try to untangle the bureaucracy. There will be chaos and plenty of collateral damage. Nonetheless, I wish them success.
The issue with well-intentioned reforms like this is that they highlight many disparate and often *contradictory* problems with the existing institutions and then just ... assume that abolition will organically lead to something better. Some examples from this post ...

All actions of the Department of Government Efficiency will be posted online for maximum transparency. Anytime the public thinks we are cutting something important or not cutting something wasteful, just let us know! We will also have a leaderboard for most insanely dumb spending of your tax dollars. This will be both extremely tragic and extremely entertaining 🤣🤣

It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. And they’re right.
