Watching a child discover something for the first time never gets old. That curiosity is why we built the Astronomy Discovery Center — a place for kids to explore, ask big questions, and grow their sense of wonder.

A little post-holiday magic is on the way. ✨ On Dec 26, the Moon, Saturn, and Neptune bunch up into a rare triple conjunction, a tiny triangle in the sky perfect for binoculars. If you’re in town, swing by Lowell and we’ll help you spot the trio. 📸: Tom Polakis

A sweet surprise from asteroid Bennu 🍬🪨 NASA found actual sugars (ribose and glucose) in the OSIRIS-REx samples. Not evidence of life, but a big clue that life’s ingredients were scattered across the early solar system. 📸: NASA

The New Moon arrives tomorrow, bringing darker skies and ideal conditions for deep-sky viewing. Andromeda, the Pleiades, and the Hyades are all visible this week. If you’ve never seen the Milky Way with your own eyes, this is your sign to visit.
