With less than 24 hours to go, the @BigGive#GreenMatchFund is still active until midday tomorrow (27 April) so there is still time to donate towards the relocation of the #RESGarden to IQL Stratford where it will make its home as a green space in an urban environment for

Greetings from Vancouver! Warm and beautiful welcome from the Squamish Nation, including some members of the Wolf Clan, to kick off #EntSoc22 for @EntsocAmerica@EntSocBC@CanEntomologist. I look forward to seeing lots of you!
Inspiring plenary from @JessicaLWareLab! Everyone should have access to entomology. There are still many barriers to access though! Safety of fieldwork countries for LGBTQIA researchers needs more consideration, for example. #Ento22
@Thripidave: Thrips are important disease vectors but their mitochondrial genome is weird, complicating barcoding and leading to messy phylogenies! New phylogeny from shotgun sequencing assemblies provides stronger evidence. Can assess virus relationships simultaneously! #Ento22
Great talk from our EiC @GKergoat to wrap up the taxonomy session at #Ento22, using some cool integrative analyses to look at the systematics of noctuid stemborers.
