Psychological toll of false accusations is severe: PTSD-like symptoms, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, & lasting identity damage, even post-exoneration. Stigma hits hard. Key: Stay calm, document facts, get professional help fast. Focus on what you control. @Elsie2127 @m0wpg @Stop__The__Lies @FACTukorg @AndreGuacci @dadmatters_uk @Formensake @CfcLoulou @RebelGal01

Fork in the road or end of the road for IMBs? I had seen for myself that proper standards of care had not been maintained in prisons & neither had proper standards of decency been maintained. The @_Imbs_ had comprehensively failed in its purpose... thecriminaljusticeblog.com/2…

Our final speaker at the JIMS Scotland protest was Wayne, who bravely shared his personal experience of being falsely accused of sexual offences. Although Wayne was ultimately acquitted by a jury, that verdict came only after he had spent 12 months on remand in prison awaiting trial. No not guilty verdict can return the precious time he lost with his children, his partner, family and friends. Many of our followers have already read Wayne's story. Now it's time to hear it directly from him. Wayne's speech was a powerful reminder that behind every statistic is a real person whose life has been turned upside down. He speaks candidly about the impact of the accusation, the long wait for justice, and the lasting consequences that remain even after an acquittal. We would like to thank Wayne for having the courage to stand before the crowd and share such a personal and difficult experience. By speaking out, he is helping to raise awareness of the human cost of wrongful allegations and the importance of fair trials. Please take a few minutes to watch Wayne's speech and let us know your thoughts in the comments. #JusticeForInnocentMenScotland #JIMS #FairTrials #PresumptionOfInnocence #JusticeMatters

While there are still so many women mocking men’s mental heath awareness, making DISGUSTING jokes about domestic violence against men being OK and how they wish the male suicide rate was even higher, it is amazing to see so many women speak up, fight back, and support men. Men need women, women need men, and when it comes to mental health, we ALL need each other.

Why we need IFAD9S 🧡 False accusations ruin innocent people worldwide. 💙Reputations, families, mental health & careers. 🧡Nations are uniting from UK to US, Argentina, Spain & Australia to defend the presumption of innocence. Truth matters. Justice must be evidence-based.

Jared Whitaker's Misandry: The War on Men Uncovered is a provocative and accessible examination of anti-male prejudice in contemporary society. The book argues that while sexism against women is widely recognised and discussed, hostility, suspicion, and negative stereotyping directed at men often go unnoticed, dismissed, or even celebrated... Whitaker explores a wide range of topics, including media portrayals of men, education, family law, domestic violence narratives, workplace issues, and cultural attitudes toward masculinity. Drawing on research, current events (it was published in January 2025), and social commentary, he seeks to demonstrate how misandry can shape institutions, public policy, and everyday interactions. One of the book's greatest strengths is its willingness to address a topic that many writers avoid. Whitaker raises important questions about double standards, empathy gaps, and the tendency to treat male disadvantage as less worthy of concern. The book is written in a direct and engaging style, making complex issues accessible to a broad audience. Its weaknesses are largely those common to advocacy-oriented works. At times the argument can feel one-sided, and some readers will want deeper engagement with counterarguments or a more detailed exploration of competing perspectives. Critics may argue that certain claims would benefit from more extensive evidence or greater nuance. Nevertheless, Misandry makes a valuable contribution by shining a light on an under-examined social issue. Whether you agree with all of Whitaker's conclusions or not, the book challenges us to think critically about how society views men and boys, and whether equal compassion is truly being extended to both sexes... This book is an important and thought-provoking contribution to the growing literature on men's issues and the psychology of anti-male bias. Thank you Jared for writing this necessary book. @strongmenjw

This is the consequence of false allegations - a man driven to suicide, a family destroyed. Not only are those who falsely accuse to blame but those who encourage, platform them and throw money at them in order to fuel a rotten agenda. I only hope Rena finds justice.💔
Last week at our protest, Rena bravely shared a deeply personal and heartbreaking story that left a lasting impact on everyone who listened. Before his case ever reached court, Rena's partner tragically took his own life. Unable to cope with the stigma, isolation, and immense emotional toll of false allegations, he saw no way forward. What makes this story even more poignant is that he was a researcher who understood the Scottish justice system in great detail. He knew exactly how difficult it can be to prove innocence once an allegation has been made, and the fear and despair that knowledge brought him proved overwhelming. As Rena spoke, her grief was clear to see, but so too was her anger at a system she believes failed her partner and countless others. Her words were powerful, emotional, and impossible to ignore. There was a palpable sense of frustration at the devastating consequences false allegations can have, not only on those accused but on entire families left behind to pick up the pieces. We are incredibly grateful to Rena for finding the courage to stand before a crowd and share such a painful chapter of her life. Stories like hers remind us why we continue to campaign, why we continue to raise awareness, and why meaningful discussion and reform are so important. We encourage all of our followers to take the time to watch Rena's speech. Her testimony is a powerful reminder of the human cost behind these issues and why these conversations matter. Please watch, share, and help us ensure that voices like Rena's are heard.
