As soon as my attention was drawn to reports that financial assistance announced by the previous government for #Vinodini, a native of #Palakkad who had to undergo amputation of her hand due to alleged negligence by the Health Department, had been delayed for four months, I immediately contacted the Director of the Women and Child Development Department.
Financial assistance to Vinodini and other children was being provided under the Sponsorship Scheme of the Women and Child Development Department. The pending arrears will be cleared at the earliest using the available funds. Necessary instructions have already been issued in this regard.

Congress leader Meenakshi Natarajan’s Rajya Sabha nomination from Madhya Pradesh was rejected because she allegedly did not mention a “case” in her affidavit. Congress says there was no case, only a show cause notice.
Now compare this with BJP leader @RajeevRC_X, who got elected to the Rajya Sabha three times with wealth declarations ranging from ₹25 crore to ₹93 crore.
In Nemom, he again filed an affidavit showing only ₹93 crore, while he himself reportedly claimed in a podcast that he is worth ₹20,000 crore.
Congress candidate @KSSabari1983 also filed a complaint with @ECISVEEP that Rajeev did not declare his 49,000 sq ft Koramangala mansion, worth around ₹200 crore, along with property tax records. The property tax receipt can be downloaded and verified by anyone.
What action was taken?
@ECISVEEP is losing all pretence of neutrality. It now looks less like an election watchdog and more like BJP’s front office.

Dear @Ceokerala,
BJP candidate from Nemom constituency, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, has not disclosed his residence, a 49,000 sq.ft mansion in Koramangala 3rd Block, Bengaluru, in his affidavit.
This is a 1.07 acre property in one of the most expensive locations in the country, where many Indian billionaires live. Land here costs around ₹35,000 to ₹50,000 per sq.ft or more. By a fair estimate, the land value alone could be around ₹200 crore.

The tax was paid just six days ago on 17th March, which you can verify yourself.
If there is any doubt whether this belongs to the same Rajeev Chandrasekhar, his 2024 affidavit lists the same address, #408, Koramangala 3rd Block, as his residence.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar is a habitual offender and appears to believe he can mislead the Election Commission of India repeatedly. His affidavit even suggests that he owns no residential property or car despite being a billionaire businessman.
We request you to intervene in this matter and disqualify the candidate as per the People's Representation Act. Otherwise, it's only fair for the public to question whether the office is acting impartially.
