Aww, poor flerfs.
In the last twelve hours, Airy's and Michelson-Morley's experiments have been completely removed from the list of arguments flat-Earthers can reasonably cite.
Those experiments never supported flat-Earth claims.

You missed the main point of the thread that unfolded over the last ~12 hours.
For years, flat-Earth advocates have claimed that the Airy experiment and the Michelson-Morley experiment were both designed to measure Earth's velocity relative to the Sun, the orbital speed that Bradley had already measured empirically as about 30 km/s.
That flat-Earth advocates' claim is false.
Airy's actual goal was to test Klinkerfues's theory of the aether. In fact, on the title page of their own paper, Michelson and Morley stated that Airy's experiment had failed to support that theory.
The real purpose of the Michelson-Morley experiment was to detect the effects of the aether by measuring Earth's velocity relative to the aether—using Earth's known orbital speed of about 30 km/s around the Sun as the relative motion through that stationary medium.
In this thread, gleem, Grok, I, and several others have clearly shown the following:
1️⃣ Earth is a spinning globe that orbits the Sun.
2️⃣ Stellar aberration provides direct proof that Earth is moving through space at roughly 30 km/s.
3️⃣ Neither Airy nor Michelson-Morley ever doubted that 30 km/s orbital speed. Their experiments were exclusively designed to look for how the aether would affect light as Earth moved through the aether at the 30km/s velocity.
Airy's and Michelson-Morley's experiments have now been completely removed from the list of arguments flat-Earthers can reasonably cite.
Those experiments never supported flat-Earth claims.
