Due to the flerfs claiming that the Moon wasn't there on eclipse day, I calculated the positions of the centers of the Sun and the Moon when they were above the horizon on the day before, when the Moon was seen before dawn and the day after, when it was seen after sunset. 1/2

@Darberban92 I use the distance to the edge of a flat Earth, so there are different dip angles depending on whether you are looking north or south. The problem is that the calculated angle is much smaller than the horizon dip that we observe in the real world.
