I wonder by how much it increases dev costs simply to appease those who find it too hard to read.
Playground Games has confirmed that Fable’s 1,000 NPCs are voiced by real actors, not AI text-to-speech. According to the studio, around 100 actors were cast to bring the game’s “Living Population” to life, with every NPC fully voiced. Developers said they recorded “tons and tons of dialogue” and said that all voices in the game come from human performances. The game features more than 150,000 lines of dialogue and over 1,000 handcrafted NPCs, with multiple recording studios working in parallel for more than 1,000 hours this year alone. Via:gamespot

“If a black person enters a space you own just submit if you don’t want to die.” So called “black activists” are the black community’s worst allies
The irony is that if Austin kept his hands to himself he’d still be alive. White parents should be talking to their children about boundaries and consent. But instead they’re framing Karmelo, and by extension the black community as inherently violent
Community note
Karmelo Anthony refused repeated requests to leave, said "touch me and see what happens" while reaching into his bag, then stabbed Metcalf in the chest after being pushed, which is unlawful escalation to deadly force without reasonable grounds, by law. apnews.com/article/texas-… abcnews.com/US/karmelo-ant… nbcnews.com/news/us-news/k…

>don’t be racist >Don't be dismissive towards your fanbase, especially your PoC fans Lol
It's simple, really. Just don't be racist. Don't be pedophilic. Don't be a mysoginist. Don't run away from controversy when being called out. Don't be dismissive towards your fanbase, especially your PoC fans. Actually give all of your characters the development they need

“While you were busy partying. I studied the blade.” IT’S REAL! LMAO
The samurais were the “virgins” while the merchants were the “chads” in Edo Japan. This is probably why samurais made up bushido because they were tired of being mocked as nerdy bureaucrats.

>Every company self-implodes because of greed >Steam is consumer friendly >STEAM IS A MONOPOLY Maybe these companies should follow their example for survival
Consumer Competition Claims (CCC), through GameClaim, has launched a new class action against Valve in the Netherlands. The group claims Valve controls around 85% of the PC game market and uses rules that make it harder for developers to sell games cheaper on other stores. It also argues that Steam’s 30% cut on game sales is too high and shows anti-competitive behaviour. According to CCC, Dutch gamers have paid more than they should due to these practices, with total damages estimated at over €220 million since 2013.. The group says it will first try to reach a settlement with Valve. If that fails, the case could go to court and may take several years to resolve.

And he might do it to Elon as well. His companies incurred 50B debt and he will try to drop the bag debt on americans. By getting fast listing on the nasdaq.
He is bailing out Sam Altman. OpenAI cant IPO because they are massively in debt and dont make any money so Altman runs to the White House begging for a bailout and magically 3 days later we get this. This is the TARP bailouts all over again lol How "rich" did we get after '08

This sounds like an overambitious promise that will never come to life and result in a half-assed mechanic, meaning the remake is staying extremely faithful to the original in this aspect
Fable NPC system is so sophisticated the devs are calling it a "life simulator" You build reputation through your actions in the game, then each NPC has a different opinion of you based on your reputation. You might have to become a rich business owner to impress and date one of the NPCs in the game, but another NPC will hate you for being so rich. As a consequence, that NPC could increase the prices on their merchandise when you visit their store. Even small actions such as giving money to the homeless or evicting people out of their houses will impact your reputation, and this can be done at a very large scale, because you could: - Buy every home in the world of Fable - Evict everyone out of their homes - Have every NPC now live on the street Possibilities are quite literally endless here

Steam's 30% is a sign of a monopoly.... Right.
Valve has been hit by yet another class action lawsuit in the Netherlands, this time from Consumer Competition Claims (CCC). The CCC claims that Valve holds a dominant position in the market, estimated at around 85%, and is breaching competition law through so-called "Most Favoured Nation" clauses. They argue that Valve’s 30 percent cut on all game sales is too high and reflects monopolistic behaviour. Dutch consumers have suffered total damages of more than €220 million. Source: GameClaim

RPG Maker’s official forums will shut down permanently on December 11, 2026. When that happens, more than 14 years of community content will be deleted, including tutorials, guides, screenshots, images, attachments, and countless discussions that have helped RPG Maker users for years. No official archive or backup has been announced. For many developers, the forums have been an important source of knowledge. Some of this information cannot be found anywhere else. Many images and files are hosted directly on the forums and could be lost forever once the site goes offline.
