LUALABA: THE C64 COALITION SAYS NO TO CONSTITUTIONAL CHANGE AND ANNOUNCES ACTIONS ON THE GROUND In the province of Lualaba, in Kolwezi, opposition political parties, citizen movements, and several other organizations have reaffirmed their opposition to any initiative aimed at changing the Constitution, as well as to any prospect of a third term for President Félix Tshisekedi. On this occasion, they announced the official launch of the C64 coalition in Lualaba. The platform says it welcomes the actions carried out in Kinshasa by its leaders, notably the “dead city” day and the sit-in organized in recent days. The C64 Lualaba also denounces what it describes as the actions of Force du Progrès activists during the sit-in and calls on the national and international community to take note of the situation. Furthermore, the coalition announced the launch of concrete actions on the ground in Lualaba province to express its opposition to any constitutional change. The coalition is also calling on the International Criminal Court @IntlCrimCourt to open an investigation into the killings allegedly committed against opponents of Félix Tshisekedi’s administration.
