Christine Uwizera, who calls herself “Coleman” and presents herself as a preacher, has continued to hide behind religion while spreading hateful propaganda and engaging in the denial and trivialization of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
Living in
#Colorado, United States, she has recently used YouTube as a platform to portray herself as a spokesperson for the terrorist group
#FDLR while attempting to blame Rwanda for the insecurity in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
For example, this extremist, who has chosen to misuse God's name in her campaign of hostility against Rwanda and its leadership, recently claimed that God had revealed to her that “He would use
#Tshisekedi to bring down the Government of Rwanda.
Many who heard these statements ridiculed them and urged her to stop exploiting the name of God to advance baseless propaganda designed only to create fear and confusion.
Although she presents herself as a preacher and operates what critics describe as a questionable religious organization to solicit support from unsuspecting Americans, her activities have largely been associated with spreading division, genocide denial, genocide trivialization, and hostility toward Rwanda and its leadership.
Uwizera, who originates from
@GakenkeDistrict in
#Northern Rwanda, reportedly has a brother who fled to
#Uganda after being implicated in genocide-related crimes. Some observers argue that this family background helps explain her consistent defense of genocide perpetrators and extremist narratives.
A source familiar with her activities told
@MY250TV that after marrying an American citizen and living in the United States for many years, she adopted the ideology of certain extremist groups that misuse Christianity to justify hatred and harmful actions.
The source stated: “This woman was associated with some of the extremist circles involved in the attack on the United States Capitol following President
@realDonaldTrump's election defeat. Those events resulted in significant destruction and loss of life.
The source further added: “Uwizera, who calls herself a preacher, follows the ideology of extremist groups that have lost their moral direction. That is why she frequently uses public platforms to call for the overthrow of the Government of
#Rwanda, claiming that she has been instructed by God to do so.”
In previous years, she also falsely claimed that God had revealed to her that former U.S. President Donald
@realDonaldTrump would win a second term in office. That prediction never materialized, reinforcing the view among critics that she is a false prophet.
This extremist should understand that the genocide ideology she continually spreads is a crime that never expires and will never be tolerated. The United States does not tolerate such crimes, as demonstrated by its decision to extradite to
#Rwanda, where she is currently facing justice for genocide-related charges.
