I know I’m never responsible for a team winning. It’s coaches and players who win games. But I do love giving leaders the tools and frameworks to help them build a winning culture and team. Grateful for this story about the opportunity to work with these two great coaches and programs and many others. statesman.com/story/sports/c…

This is a great episode, especially if you are a parent. I don’t always get it right (most of the time I don’t) but “have to” vs “get to” can make a huge difference in your life. E P=O Great work @JimVanAllan

Full circle between Sun. night and Mon. morning. Sunday I graduated from the @LearningForward Academy ‘24 where I focused on implementing a theory of change (that was tied to the @EnergyBusSchool). This morning I spent time reflecting for @JimVanAllan on our success at the Rock!

so you're telling me the 4-0 ACC team had the call go their way from the ACC command center in Charlotte NC and it gave them an undefeated 5-0 record seems legit

“It comes down to root vs. fruit. What are we investing in. Are we investing in the root - culture, the relationships, commitment to people, professional growth. Or is just fruit - data & numbers, which is important - but a focus on the ROOT will produce the FRUIT” @JimVanAllan

My absolute most difficult battle in this career. Making sure that I am as good to people that share my last name as I am to those who don’t. At the end of the day - I am fully replaceable in one space & quite the opposite in the other. I try to remember that…but still struggle
I aspired to be an awesome principal… but it was actually more important to be an awesome husband and an awesome dad. Passion for the work is important. It’s also important to keep priorities in check.

We had such an incredible time at our new staff @EnergyBusSchool Onboarding event on Wed. We worked to bring new staff up to speed so that we can hit the ground running when students return. On new folks not only learned about the Energy Bus, but also what it means to #RepTheRock

Before I was introduced to @JonGordon11 and The Energy Bus, these were the 10 rules I had in my office. Middle schoolers connected with Kobe and I enjoyed talking about rule 1. Thanks to @JimVanAllan and the @EnergyBusSchool our elementary Ss now thrive on “You are the driver!”
