Going to share #MyFirstRepublicStory and why they have a customer for life. @firstrepublic refinanced my student loans out of law school. 3.75% for 15 years. I must have referred 30-40 students to them. Family, friends, strangers. Fast forward a couple of years and their 15 year product is at 2.85%. Naturally I call my banker and ask if they can lower the rate. Now, let's be honest, I represent banks. Odds of success? <1%. I know how these loans work. Fixed means fixed. My banker responds predictably. "Adam, the loan doesn't ratchet down with rates. It's fixed. You know this, c'mon." Told him I figured it was a no but doesn't hurt to ask. Fast forward a few days and he calls me one morning. "Adam, I went to the credit committee. Showed them what you've done for us, the referrals, everything. They agreed to lower your rate to 2.85%. We're not re-amortizing, but just a rate mod." I was floored. I had no real $ in the bank at the time. They hoped I would in the future. They took a chance on me and by the way, saved me 2 years of loan payments along the way. And they got a customer for life. @firstrepublic is the first bank I recommend people to. Level of service is unmatched.

Grateful to share #MyFirstRepublicStory. Even as of 11pm last Friday (as panic set in), I was making founder intros to @MeggieRamirez, to help open new bank accounts. She and team were responded to me instantaneously. I admire the passion and service of team FRB! Love ya'll!
