🚨Nightmare in Belfast Northern Ireland The horrific video shows a Black African migrant stabbing a White British man in the face and neck multiple times while he lies on the street. The knifeman screams in an unknown foreign language as he attempts to behead the victim. Bystanders were slow to react but eventually started hitting and kicking the terrorist in the head until police arrived. The victim was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition. UK Police (PSNI) have refused to release the attacker’s identity, nationality, or immigration status despite the graphic footage going viral. This has triggered massive outrage over Two-Tier Policing, mass migration failures, and Keir Starmer’s Labour government, which is now pushing Digital IDs and anti-free speech online censorship. Earlier today Labour got hit with 4 separate Community Notes for trying to use their under-16 social media ban to install spyware on British phones. Massive protests are being planned across Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England. I make no apologies for doing the right thing to protect children from paedophiles. This is about stopping the coercion and sextortion of children, not surveilling or policing people’s phones. This technology is already on devices. The tech firms just need to switch it on to block children from seeing nude imagery. There is no reporting, no data collection, no monitoring, and no images leaving the device. All adults will be able to switch off the protections if they are over 18. This is targeted, proportionate and - most importantly - it protects children from vile abusers.

This an awful, shocking case. Henry’s loved ones have gone through the trauma of a long trial and endured Henry's killer making up appalling claims about their son who was thoughtful, kind and deeply loved. It is right that the IOPC is investigating the police’s response to his senseless murder. And we must end the cycle of tragedy by tackling the horror of knife crime. Henry’s family, friends, his university and the city of Southampton will continue to feel his loss, and our thoughts will always be with them.

I’ll always champion peaceful protest. But the Unite the Kingdom march organisers are peddling hatred and division. We’ve already blocked visas for far-right agitators who want to come here to spew their extremist views. They don't speak for the decent, fair, respectful Britain I know.

Our party has suffered a historic defeat. Many good Labour colleagues have lost their seats despite working hard for those they represented. We have lost good Labour administrations and lost the chance for more. What we are doing isn’t working, and it needs to change. This may be our last chance. The Labour Party must now live up to our name: we must be the party of working people. We’ve heard the same on the doorstep as we’ve seen in the polls - the cost of living is the top issue for voters of all parties. People have turned to populists and nationalists because we have not done enough to fix it. Living standards are barely higher than they were a decade and a half ago. People feel hopeless - that the cost of living crisis will never end, and now they see oil and gas companies use global instability to post record profits. Once again, ordinary people are paying the price for decisions they didn’t make. It’s no wonder that across the UK, working people feel the system is rigged against them. Things can be so much better than this. Countries including Spain and Canada have shown that economies can grow and people can thrive when governments stay true to labour and social democratic values and put people first. We need to learn from that. In London, we lost young people who fear they will never afford a home. In my patch and across the north, we lost working people whose wages are too low and costs too high. In Scotland and Wales, people do not currently see Labour as the answer.  We are in danger of becoming a party of the well-off, not working people. The Peter Mandelson scandal showed a toxic culture of cronyism.  Decisions like cutting winter fuel allowance just weren’t what people expected from a Labour government. For too long, successive governments have allowed wealth and power to concentrate at the top without a plan to ensure the benefits of economic growth are shared fairly. The result is an economy that does not work for the majority, with wealth concentrated in too few hands. This level of inequality, alongside squeezed living standards, is the outcome of a model built on deregulation, privatisation, and trickle-down economics. But we have the chance to fix this.  1/2

I am concerned to hear of the incident at Manchester Central Mosque last night. I know this will be worrying for Muslim communities, especially during Ramadan, a time of peace and reflection. My thanks go to the volunteers and emergency services for their quick response. We have provided up to £40 million funding for additional security at mosques, Muslim schools and community centres, and will continue to act to ensure communities are able to live without fear.

Jordan and Delroy Lindo were on stage at the BAFTAs I'm sorry, this is WILDLY unacceptable on so many levels - mostly so from @BAFTA We can all understand he has a condition, but this is subjecting Jordan and Lindo to racial trauma, which everyone needs to understand is UNACCEPTABLE on every level. The fact that they apologized to the BAFTA audience publicly, but not directly to Delroy Lindo and Michael B. Jordan continues the tradition of prioritizing white comfort over Black trauma.
