The life of an international graduates in Canada. I arrived in Canada in 2017 to read community health. I graduated with straight A’s and my thesis produced 2 manuscripts published in a high impact journal. I obtained a job focusing on Indigenous health. Read below….

I am just wondering if the new immigration minister @MarcMillerVM is the housing minister or it’s me? Looks like most of his tweets are more geared towards housing than immigration. I know the two are related but l feel he is more housing friendly. Am l wrong?

Dear @MarcMillerVM and @CitImmCanada you need to intervene on how some of your schools treat International students in Canada. What sort of treatment is this? Lack of accountability has made these schools take advantage of these poor students. What a shame!

I just talked with a graduate whose employer is asking for 35K for LMIA. He asked if it’s worth taking the offer… l nodded my head and questioned my self: What country is this? Canada? Oh wow! @MarcMillerVM @CitImmCanada @JustinTrudeau

I am not in support of LMIA’s given the level of fakeness associated with it but @MarcMillerVM, the lack of clarity for current international graduates in Canada are forcing many to go through that route. Do something for these people. Bring back #CEC

Looks like the consultant below have some alternatives for Int. graduates struggling to get PR. I am in Saskatchewan and l tried all channels and not even Tim Hortins will hire me unless l lied l had no degree so maybe we all have the solution 🫠

I work in MB, I can confirm that so far that number has been more than 90% of PNP’s approved in MB.
I am pretty sure that the numbers from East coast is around 80% of the PNP approved. Also, east coast has AIP.
Clients have to make some tough choices, just like the rest of us.

This mandate was ignored by @SeanFraserMP. We are the graduates who studied and worked during the pandemic. Just as trade is being considered, @MarcMillerVM Plz look into doing CEC draws. I doubt CEC draws will have such high scores. Kindly consider us in your upcoming draws Sir

Spoke with an international student, working at Tim Hortons. Paid 20k to work at Tim’s to get PR through LMIA. Tim’s Owner operating 4 stores have 15 students working like that. It can take upto 2yrs for PR. Extra 300k cash unreported in 2yrs. People working like slaves. F****

Dear @MarcMillerVM we know PR is a privilege. But considering our age and level of education, don’t you think 517 is too high? The inlanders can’t reach such scores. kindly reconsider doing something for CEC applicants.
