ALT Statement from the #PrescribingNow coalition. We want to say a big thank you to all our members who continue to support our work to have independent prescribing responsibilities extended to us. Before the general election we had to pause our campaigning on this important issue. We're planning more activity in the autumn when Parliament returns from recess. The failure to extend independent prescribing responsibilities has gone on too long. If we are to play our full part in helping to fix the NHS, now is the time for the government to remove the barriers preventing our members providing better, timelier, and more cost-effective support to their patients. We look forward to working with you and remain committed to pursuing the issues. It is time for #PrescribingNow.
